Like, you work at fast food for 11.5 a hour how do you think you can support a family
context: a coworker 17 years old is trying to get a kid
lmfao
That’s honestly one of the best parts
And unlike running it’s full-body so it’s not just your legs and lungs getting fucked by high-impact exercise, it’s just a singular effort
I am angling toward distance running so I can do a marathon before I’m 25
but rowing is fun as hell
I want to do one of the multi week canoe trips eventually
Anyways fire phrasing is important tbh
technically you can do a marathon whenever you want. they just let you start walking
sometimes people make bad decisions
Hmmmmm okay
canoe =/= rowing but long canoe trips are also v fun (I prefer kayaks but acknowledge canoes are technically better for excursions)
yeah I know they’re different but I couldn’t figure a way to naturally talk about canoeing without bringing that up
The phrasing was correct, it literally was the exact same thing I said
if I ever see you again, be ready :P
I’m not going to debate you on this but next time just say “hoping/trying to have kids” and it will be understood much more clearly
Oh
I think “hoping” would have been unclear, “trying” would have been better
“hoping to have kids” sounds like it could mean, like, in the future
fair
now that I have Somewhat Stamina I am now rapidly building up the amount I’m jogging for every day to be ~5k and then go somewhere from there
my weight contributes to a dangerously high heart rate but
gotta keep moving up
plus the gains in terms of calorie burning over time for jogging are way better than walking
regardless either would be better than what we got
