Old pic from my hometown haha. Thankfully they outlawed horses on the streets because the people who were using them weren’t vaccinating them and it was dangerous. But as a kid i remember horse carriages and cars sharing the road
In my theoretical exam for my driving license there were questions about what you would do if there was a horse carriage in front of you. Idk if you guys had them

I actually saw two policemen on horses in the middle of the road while walking to school in London.

I saw a lot of horses growing up but usually off roads, only occasionally on 'em. Very annoying ot be behind a horse on a 45mph street
