The Kroger I’m at is not very large
I think that’s why they are an asshole, they wanted the entire store stocked why target and Walmart understand it’s big store and to get at your own pace, and even here I tried to go as fast as I could and it still kinda wasn’t enough

(This is from my VERY anecdotal experience of having worked at a grand total of 2 grocery stores for 4 years)

That seems like poor scheduling

Every single time we’ve had a new hire their first couple shifts are scheduled in addition to the regular people for that shift

So even if you do absolutely nothing then the regular people will still get it done

Expecting the new hire to finish everything isn’t standard, at least for my store*

(*our company is owned by kroger, so it shouldnt be that different)
