If you are already shielding a player, using this ability will transfer your shield to a different player (you may self-target in order to cancel your shield). mechanical clarifications:
- if you earn Stand Guard brilders and Shield-pop brilders the same night, you know how many you earned from each
- if you Stand Guard someone and a Sellsword also goes on them, you get no brilders. Sad!
- Shield protects from Fucking Everything, including things that bypass healing or death immunity. Literally anything that counts as an attack, + Sorc Bomb which doesn’t, + I think PK guards? But not bleed, and not delayed deaths from chrono (I think). I think it works even if you (the Merc) are in jail but I remember that being controversial so I might be wrong. I think it can pop the night you place it but I’m not positive there either. It doesn’t protect from execution (regular or prince).

- if you win you can stay in game or leave, works the same way as Inq but with a bonus minigame

- yadda yadda yadda they can leave if they win but don’t have to
- framed targets appear as cult/unseen, and will appear to visit a random player who died. to princess, framed social/support/special/investigatives appear as K/O; framed killer/offensives appear as S/I. to single-class-type-checkers, that all holds except that framed offensives will appear as killers. I think framed targets will appear unable to be converted to Mastermind Foresight but I don’t remember for sure.
