Caitlyn dictator arc was not where I was expecting things to go.
Not a giant fan of how Isha kinda feels crammed into the show now, but I’m curious whether it’s going to use that to explore the idea of generational trauma and how this generation must fix the problems of the previous generations.

Cait’s arc isn’t that surprising. It’s just cycle of violence.
I have zero issues with Isha? She was meaningful in ep 3 because she both interceded with Vi and Jinx, and catalyzed Cait and Vi’s separation. I think it’ll be interesting to see how Jinx handles the big sister role going forward, and if she’ll make the same mistakes as her big sister or not and what that’ll mean for her going forward.

It felt frustrating that Jinx got unbreakable plot armor for the millionth time. Although I’m sure it’s for the better in terms of enjoying the show. But it felt a bit cartoonish to me because I wanted it to be more realistic / gritty, (but it obviously don’t have to be just because I wanted it to be). Not taking the shot and stopping the shot to not kill Jinx because of that annoying kid. You have a mass murderer who killed 100+ people and who started a war and you don’t take the shot and let her get away for the 1000th time? Jeez

I mean tbf caitlyn DID try to take the shot. It was vi stopping her for pretty good reason, and I loved the difference between the two. Caitlyn was willing to stop at nothing to get revenge and kill Jinx, Vi still had her morals inside her and couldn’t risk hurting the kid. I loved that scene personally
