I imagine that to an extent, Vi still hopes that she can save Jinx, and seeing that Isha would protect her gave her hope that Powder’s still in her.
I do think they’re setting Jinx up to redemption die in the series finale, but we’ll see.

Jinx remains my least favorite aspect of the show - I do not find madness an interesting trope, and I don’t think Jinx changes that at all - so I’m hoping they explore her more this season.

I think Vi stopping the shot because Jinx is her sister and she doesn’t want her sister to die despite hating her is very realistic and I would have loved it if that was presented as the motivation. I just felt like the random kid was the biggest motivation for Vi stopping the shot and that felt bit cheap to me because Vi doesn’t know that kid. Like it wants me to feel empathy and protective because it’s a small kid, and it represents Vi feeling that way towards that kid even though she just met it. Those characters wouldn’t act the same if it was an adult looking character. Like imagine if it was a random red shirt person, and they don’t kill Jinx just to protect their life. It would come off as a tad corny
