yea

yes, but it builds up to addressing this particular point, and why we do not (in at least certain contexts) need a formal diagnosis to legitimize our understanding of ourselves and shared experiences with each other.

aroud 5:00
6 minutes as well (i don’t believe this but still have reservations)
9 minutes (seems to imply that while this point is being made satirically its something the audience may believe. I don’t)
then for the most part i agree with everything be said but like. This ain’t new info. I know all this. Why am i bothering to spend my time consuming this when it’s info I already know.
12:40 (seems again to imply that this is something the adueince believes. I again disagree)

and then theres a lot of talk about social constructs which like. Yeah i know this again. I don’t know the exact difference between madness and knowledge or the exact people behind it but I don’t really see that as important. What I do know is a basic bit of the history behind this stuff (psychology/sociology, mental illnesses, intelligence, etc) and I know it has been used (and still is used) in all forms to oppress people.

the week i got deranked i had to do 6 in one day

i had to do that my second ranked week and then i was like “Maybe if I have to put a whole day aside to just Get A Rank and i also inadvertenly have less fun eith the game doing this, maybe instead I Shouldn’t”

doing like (on average 45 upwards of 60 avg 52.5) 367ish to about just upwards of 6 hours a week just of deadlock is uh

Pokémon suffered from power creep in Gen 8.
I wonder if I will also suffer the same way with my setups being wackier with each iteration.

I purged some of the setups I didn’t like, but there are so many more setups left. And the longer I look at them, the less satisfied I become.

Technically, they are could be considered as complete. After all, there is no such thing as “a perfect setup”. However
it is the (bad) habit of creators to be strict upon their own creations.

Just when you think “this looks fine”, whispers of imperfection start to invade the corners of your mind. I think
this is one of the reasons I gave up on perfection. It’s just too much effort to wish to accomplish something that is objectively impossible to attain. It’s easier to detach myself and avoid attachments to anything more than what is necessary for an everyday life.

PokĂ©mon has suffered from power creep every gen - from a game design perspective, some power creep is actually a good thing, because without it you introduce an entire generation of new PokĂ©mon and the meta doesn’t change at all lol

I’d argue that we’ve probably had, on average, more power creep than would be ideal, but we do tend to nerf the worst offenders so like on the whole it’s worked well enough thus far
