when you do finance you have no other soul

The only finance that middle schoolers are learning is personal finance, and thatā€™s far more common sense than actual finance.

oh middle school i thought this was hs

youā€™d manage to make it work anyway

The following content are fiction. Not that it is any different from my other ramblings, but I figured I might as well put on a disclaimer "just in case".

A cause. I am lacking a cause to continue. :pen: :fish_cake: I see the images :framed_picture: in my dreams, but -because they are dreams- itā€™s not easy to make sense of the events :city_sunset:. Forget chronology :timer_clock:; itā€™s like asking ā€œwhat is two plus twoā€ and then getting ā€œ:keycap_ten: + :keycap_ten: = :100:, therefore we need to sacrifice :100: lives :drop_of_blood: to bring back our world :earth_americas: to reality :low_brightness:ā€.

There was a princess :princess: who was kidnapped by a demon :imp:. The hero :man_superhero: entered the villainā€™s castle :european_castle: and defeated the monster without giving it a chance to do anything . The hero untied :knot: the princess, who shivering in fear :grimacing:. Just when the hero was about to return home :house:, he was stabbed in the back! :hocho: The princess smiled from ear to ear  and explained the hero that she was actually the demon who had swapped :twisted_rightwards_arrows: bodies with the princess. :open_mouth: The hero died in vain :headstone: and thus the villainess lived happily ever after. :smiling_imp:

There was a monster :vampire: who had swapped bodies with a princess :princess: it had kidnapped. The true princess, unable to handle her new reality, [REDACTED] :skull:. The monster panicked :scream: and had to come up with a plan to kill the hero :man_superhero:. It planted traps :mouse_trap: together with its servants :man_in_tuxedo:, and reviewed the escape routes in case of emergency :exclamation:. When the hero  broke into the monsterā€™s castle :european_castle:, all traps were destroyed :boom: before they could trigger. The hero :triumph: rushed towards the false princess and [REDACTED] :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:. The hero was not a good person :slightly_frowning_face:. The servants :family_man_boy_boy: barged into the room and separated the two :v: apart. The monster, stuck in the princessā€™ body :lock:, ran away using the escape route :running_woman:. It lit a match :fire: and set the castle ablaze :fireworks:. Without looking back :eyes:, the monster :disappointed: walked away from the burning building :hotsprings:, never to return :arrow_right:.

Donā€™t talk to me Iā€™m the kind of person who cringes away at the idea of finance (or maybe falls asleep in class whichever comes first)

FoL is wonderful it lets me see what Ash edits the message to from beforehand so I donā€™t only get this experience in a VC once every year

I have a bad tendency to be a bit perfectionistic about my messages (and my typing style in general, honestly).

Let your natural thoughts flow cmon :)

You donā€™t talk like you type so XD

Iā€™ve always had a bad habit of stuttering and losing my train of thought when talking in person, so when texting, the ideaā€™s always been to be an optimal version of what Iā€™d say to someone in person.

A core tenet of that is replicating the intentional grammatical mistakes that Iā€™d make speaking, stuff like run-on sentences and speaking in sentence fragments.

Almost perfect grammar there you missed a comma

Nah I donā€™t think itā€™s that bad

I donā€™t think so?
Or, rather, I think you parsed it in a different way than I intended.

I feel like I talk and type in the same way but I find I stumble over ym words in a way I donā€™t normally notice

And I do edit my messages a lot. In real life Iā€™m wlways generating things to say and often donā€™t deploy them in time to have them be useful and I just have to throw away really good lines/bits

Online I donā€™t find this, even over VC. Maybe because conversations are fewer people online, maybe because Iā€™m like, audibly quieter and visibly small IRL so I find it harder to get words in

This happens to me all the time.
One of the perks of texting is having the time and ability to fully convey those ideas.
