i’d appreciate if people stopped trying to read me from this. like it just does not work. my confidence is constantly fluctuating and rarely matches up to what i’m saying, i’ve proven this time and time again - i have to project confidence because otherwise i can’t do anything useful. 2 of my 3 mislynches have happened because of the lobby making this dumb read

It’s not solely about confidence, it’s also about the way that confidence presents itself. Distant confidence versus the kind of on-the-ground shit you tend to have as town. Confidence that someone is wrong town versus confidence that someone is just wrong in general, often dipping into wolfreading people you disagree with solely on that basis. The shit you’re doing here.

Then I kinda thought about how they opened in their last two games. And the difference is quite palpable, really - he opened as mafia by posting walls responding to things and making micro reads, similar to this game, whereas as town, he entered with a zero-fucks given attitude just responding to a few random things. Now I’m not sure if there was something non-alignment related for him to post like that as town, but it is quite hard to ignore how different it is to this game. The mafia/here openings feel like they are designed to make an impression - this is exacerbated by how I feel like they are posting in a way to say things rather than progress the game.
