When I was younger, I couldn’t watch any movies, because the characters would suffer and I couldn’t bear to see it. I cried repeatedly at Finding Nemo, and also a book called Kitten’s First Full Moon where a kitten got lost. I got upset when anyone told a joke that involved even a hypothetical person suffering, e.g. “when it snows we just shovel out the whole road by hand!”

I am not so bad now, but I still can’t handle mafia games where everyone is miserable.
