Targeting one person seems like the best play.
our best bets is seeing who has their check shifting or not from player to player, if everyone gets the same result twice, both players are town, otherwise one is mafia
it also helps find sane and insane
Actually we barely get 2 checks, and that’s with no exe
naw we always get 2 checks and always no exe cuz misexe on 4 = lose
no exe > check > no exe > check > always f3
1 dead 1st result 2 dead
Always f3 will always depend on how many shifters mafia got, mafia wants to kill shifters avoid killing shifter targets, if a shifter get a result on a dead player and an alive one, oh shit it’s still a 50/50 on sane/insane
actually no I’m tweaking
shifters know if a player is good (same check as a dead player) or evil
but that would make them think they are para/naive
so the best scenario is a shifter checking a player that dies and the mafia, in no specific order
i love using my brain
Finally out of the car.
Agree with Bionic on everything. Only question left is to decide who to target first (I’d personally go with Magnus or Someone).
VOTE: None
If we hammer before agreeing upon a target, Magnus should target Someone, and everyone else should target Magnus.
I think we should inherently trust that I’m town, as per is the case.
Statistically speaking:
Town | Mafia | |
---|---|---|
Sane | Good | Evil |
Insane | Evil | Good |
Paranoid | Evil | Evil |
Naive | Good | Good |
It’s inherently impossible to lean a result either way when not everyone will be alive for it, since we can only gather results after N1 passes.
Someone is Town for realising this. That’s a level 1 read but eh, turbo.
Since the cop sanity doesn’t really matter, we should just execute twice in a row.
VOTE: Ash.
Just speeding things along. Ash didn’t realise that.
Explaining thought process…
Pre game I was considering very similarly to the rest in putting all of our investigations into one person.
While that is reckless, giving the evil one an easy boot, splitting between 2 would gain the most information in finding out our own sanities, making evil easy pickings, hopefully within the next day should we all cooperate. Anyone overly and explicitly against the plan would only out themself.
As for the vote tonight, I can trust a lot of you to put a strong enough read based on interaction alone.
While the game is too short, learning at least 2 of the sanities through process of elimination within one round would give us 2 whole days to find the real one through our abilities alone, to gather overwhelming evidence.
The issue here is that somebody can die each night, meaning that even if we didn’t execute anybody and prioritised information gathering, at best we could narrow it down to a coinflip after two nights.
…Honestly, you’re right. With what little time we have, the sanities may prove to be too big of a distraction. And thinking about it more, a plan like that may be too convoluted after all… While “3-2” it’s possible for it to really be 3-1, allowing for just one “known” alignment which is far too little knowns to solve the equation.
