I was experimenting with discourse format following a Boundless guide when I learned about the <kbd tag. Enclosing these tags around a word results in a button: observe.

But the way you need to enclose spoiler buttons is actually quite abstruse, because it requires three tags.

I cannot believe my thread “Misc: Elektion 2X24: A cyberpunk themed simulatory misc designed to discuss outcomes in a theoretical landscape” was denied. I don’t know why a misc with the flavor “discuss and predict the results of the 2X24 Elektion between Vice High Priest Karmen Harrison and Former High Priest Dominic Trope” was denied.

I think it’d be a cool misc idea and I have no idea why the moderators decided it bore “uncanny similarities to current events”. Like first I dont even watch the news or whatever, and second off its set in the fictional future year of 2X24 so how could it be current events. That’s really silly

I am now being told it is because I did include an Elektion candidate called “Robert F. Kennedy Jr.”, who is a 1:1 copy of the actual american presidential candidate. I admit my mistake there, however, in my defense, I needed to change absolutely nothing about his statements or personality to fit into the universe I was writing.

Nbowie is the only FoLer who has diplomatic immunity to talk about politics whenever she wants. If you arent a well spoken leftist in your 30s who writes walls with punctuation and grammar that people automatically agree with coz it sounds smart then u dont get the politics pass. Glad you appreciate the tag. It can somewhat break with excessive use (like if you kbd in kbd and you mix other tags in with it a lot), so use with caution.
