gee-d
tbh
I sometimes read geyde as jade
yeah that’s just
ew
The g is not supposed to be next to two e’s
it actually makes sense
unlike gae-de
It makes sense, but it sounds awful to reproduce in my mind
So a was the choice
This may be because I am forced to move my tongue whenever speaking in my mind
what
so
whenever I speak in my mind to reproduce a sound without saying it out loud I have to move my tongue or throat or whatever that is
and the way it feels does not seem right
I’m not sure how to explain it besides that
do you have to read in your mind when looking at text too
i heard some people have that
actually yeah if I want it to be pronounced right
like I can read read without it being pronounced right in my head
that just slows you down when you read
at least thats what i’ve heard
true
which is why I didn’t really care until you annoyingly pointed this fact out and I realized that I technically wasn’t hearing it pronounced right
ha
im like 70% sure this will start on tues-wen probably at the earliest
mon if we get lucky but i doubt that
Best I can offer is if you don’t have to move whatever when reading it or saying it in your mind is to say both ways outloud and you will see what I mean
We Are Doing Our Best (we’re making good progress, I’m having trouble with sleep schedule, but otherwise, we’re fine). Can’t name an exact start date just yet.
figured
i don’t really get this like
at all
which probably helps my reading ability at least a good bit
have you tried saying gee de outloud
