Face Your Fears (BOTC) - [2/9] - Evil Wins

I think May and Jarek are both confirmed evil since neither wants to nominate a dead player.

In my opinion, May didn’t want to initiate a whisper with Jarek, and the latter just didn’t reach out. The former came up with a bluff on the spot which threw shade against his neighbours, whereas the latter reached out thinking their ability operated like a High Priestess; they couldn’t coordinate. The fact Bionic received a duplicate ability claim sorta endorses this hypothesis, since why.

Kiiruma made mechanical sense as Jonah Magnus, but he sorta just agreed with the evil worlds. He didn’t think Jarek was evil because May’s information incriminated them; but the fact is May only ever pushed on the other side of that ping. Kiiruma couldn’t have jumped to Jarek, though.

Gertrude!Jarek who killed Minion!Kiiruma… mechanically sound, socially doesn’t make sense. May’s been obtrusively distracted all game, only focusing on solving worlds immediately after she’s been suspected today.

This is nevertheless a redcheck May inadvertently placed onto Jarek, however. Given this logic, it makes far more sense to assume May is Gertrude who killed me first, then Kiiruma immediately after learning his role, followed by Moll because she didn’t want to kill Pigeon/Jarek for obvious reasons; and then Nuto/Moll would’ve needed to die anyway in either order. Then Jarek being a Minion who thus doesn’t care quite so much about making broad waves is fine.

This is my world, I’m going to abide by it until new testimony comes to light.

The biggest issue with eye would be the lack of coordination.
IDK if any player alive could’ve guessed Magnus’ character, Mine and then yours.
I kept to myself quite a bit until I died, I think I talked to like 1 or 2 people prior to it.

The testimony is that I’m good

Our biggest issue is now that we’ve had a nomination, if your world is right Magnus we need Nuto to come online or else evil can and will just rise up to win.
2 votes is enough after all.

If you were good, I think you’d have nominated a dead player. You’re an experienced BotF player, and you like mechanics more than anything else.

The concern is warranted, but I think Nuto’s been checking the game semi-frequently so I’m not altogether worried. Even if Pigeon didn’t nominate, somebody else could’ve nominated.

I’m good so I won’t do that

Well I know I’m good and I believe pandora to be a dead evil so there should only be one left and I’m betting they don’t have the guts

Uh-huh. Then if you were correct, May and Pandora could coordinate voting together in whispers with two seconds on the clock.

I didn’t think of that

well that won’t happen because I’m correct

I have no idea who the demon is if I’m actually correct but I’ll wait for F3 to make a shot in the dark guess

You don’t really have a counterargument, huh.
Anyway.

Mechanics have flown over my head this game and they will continue to do so

Yet the mechanic of “Evil can rise up unless a corpse is nominated” isn’t on your mind?
Is Magnus right that you + May are just the evil team?

Assuming w!Jarek, which doesn’t seem like quite so much a reach anymore, I respect the active noncompliance whilst still remaining active in the town circle. It’s a fun way to socialise with friends across separating alignments.

I only realised a few hours ago that May and Jarek could thusly communicate in neighbour whispers, thereby removing the necessity to trace whispering entirely. This should’ve been common sense since May’s an Empath-adjacent claim, but eh.

let’s kill jarrk
