if you have 5 and 7 as numbers, you could submit -5*7 to be -35

unary minus is the operation you do to “5” to get “-5”

unary because there’s one argument “-A”, as opposed to regular minus “A-B”

last question, i presume “going over” for a negative target would still mean “greater than” i.e. i need to make a more negative number?

also, just as a reminder, you can use as many parentheses as needed to make the intended order of operations clear

the target will be positive (if it were negative going over would be based on more negative)

remember that you do NOT want to go over! if you go over you lose!
