Let’s keep this short because Catbae has been townread to death and back, if the announced doctor is any indication. He made his displeasure on Marl known early on (#1289 (#2740) without sticking to anything, his early votes are indicative of him flipping suspects in his mind without strong leanings towards anyone in particular; the mark of a motivated villager during “RVS”.
I’ve garnered the impression that Catbae had the primary say over who the drone watched over, given that it was said to choose a target from whomever the three GI wolves submitted. He selected Marl in spite of the thread giving to him many multiple alternatives. Furthermore, Catbae ostensibly deemed it worthy to start a train on Creature (#4160), so unless he pretty much decided to ride it out until endgame off D1 content (which seems like a stretch), he’s just always town here off his own actions.
Moreover, Catbae called Marl out for bad treatment of his slot. This back and forth doesn’t exactly come across as theatre to me, and again — if partnered this entire exchange would be completely unnecessary. (#5393)

In the recently ongoing Grand Idea turbo, Amelia expressed bemusement over the fact that they always randed on opposite teams with Daeron. I don’t believe w!Amelia would’ve been so incautious as to say this line, as an evil player in this game, particularly if Daeron is good as well. I think Amelia would’ve reconsidered whether it might’ve been read into and not said it, instead taking a neutral position on separating the turbo from this game. This read ultimately depends on how well Amelia usually manages TMI. (Grand Idea #8)
