Yes or No?

  • The game will be played over a series of rounds.
  • Each round, all players will be asked, “Yes or No?”
  • All players must answer publicly.
  • Once all players have answered, I will announce the correct answer for that round.
  • Your goal is not to get correct answers. Your goal is to identify the rule that determines how “Yes or No?” is determined.
  • All players get one guess of the rule. If your guess is correct, you win! If it is incorrect, you lose, but must keep answering each round’s question.
  • To guess, ping @Dark_Joycat in the event thread and say “I guess that the rule is [your guess]” or some recognizable variation.
  • Once someone has guessed correctly, the game will end. If everyone guesses wrong, no one wins!

so let’s say the secret rule is “The answer is always Yes.”

You are asked: “Yes or No?”

Wazza says: “Yes”
catbae says: “Yes”
Achromatic says: “No”
Chloe says: “No”
Ashlyn says: “No”
Zone_Q11 says: “Yes”

Then it is announced that the correct answer was “Yes”

Wazza, catbae, and Zone_Q11 said the correct answer, but this doesn’t get them points or anything

catbae says “I think the secret rule is that the correct answer is always ‘no’”

he gets eliminated since that was obviously not the rule

You are asked: “Yes or No?”

Wazza says: “No”
