At the beginning of the game, it will be publicly announced that you are the King. You have +1 Vote Weight (2 total, disabled in XYLO), you receive 1 Cookie at the beginning of each Night, and your actions are Hidden.
Pass the Torch
Passive — King Sealed
When you die, your role is not revealed, and then players will vote for the next King at the beginning of the next Day. The player who receives the most votes by the middle of the Day gain all of your King abilities, and Ring items. Then, your King abilities become Sealed (on you only, not the inherited copies), and your role is revealed.

You know that at the beginning of the game, another player has The One Ring. You know what The One Ring is:

Item — Ancient Cursed Ring
At the end of each Night, gain 1 Corruption Charge. If you have 5 or more Corruption Charges , you die. You may only use 1 Ring action per Night. If you die with this item, it will be given to another random player at the beginning of the next Phase. You have access to the following actions while you possess this item:
Put on the Ring
Night Action — Multitaskable Ring
Protect yourself from a randomly chosen killing action that targets you during the Night, gain 2 Corruption Charges , and become “Tempted by the Ring”.
Cast it into the Fire!
Night Action — Multitaskable Ring
Choose target player, and attempt to the destroy this item. If the chosen player is the “Dark Lord”, they die, and this item is destroyed. Otherwise, you gain 1 Corruption Charge and become “Tempted by the Ring”. You may not use this if you are “Tempted by the Ring”.
Give it Away
Night Action — Multitaskable Ring
Give this item to target player. You may not use this if you are “Tempted by the Ring”.
While you possess The One Ring , you cannot gain Corruption Charges, Put on the Ring becomes Inactive, and Indomitable Will loses Inactive.
Indomitable Will
Night Action — Inactive Multitaskable Ring
Block target player. You may not target the same player on consecutive Nights.
The Dark Ages
Immediate Day Action
Choose target player to submit a role name for a “UPick” before the beginning of the next Night. If they do, you may inform the hosts of an ability that cannot kill, reveal alignments, or gain new abilities in any way based on that role name during the Night to be given to targeted player at the beginning of the next Day except it is 1-shot. You may only use this in the first half of the Day. You may only target each player once per game. (We reserve the right to adjust it further before giving it to the player without your prior approval, and will inform you of the final ability we give to the player.)

Give target player an additional 3 Super Likes (permanently), 3 Bonus Super Likes , 3 Cookies, and their Advantage abilities behave as if their Guild has the Advantage, until the beginning of the next Day.
You are the Soul of the Old Forum, Town Forum of Lies. This role isn’t inspired by a particular person, but instead it embodies the spirit of the old FoL, for better or for worse. It hearkens back to some notable roles and games: the King role, the Lord of the Rings game, and a dark period in FoL history where there were a million UPicks. We can’t say those were good times, but they certainly were some times.
You win when the Mafia and all other threats to the Town have been eliminated.
