I can’t say I’ve ever seen Atlas as an evil player in my time on the forums so for all I know I’m looking at it, but for now I’ll tell you that I think I’m looking at a Town atlas.
They think Neon is evil and they think Neon is evil because Neon pushed Hail out, which I can see why someone would call that evil and pursue them as a potential wolf to put pressure on. This makes sense to me. Their reaction at the start of D2 makes sense progression-wise as to why their read would turn on Neon in such a way as opposed to a wolf just looking for a free mis-elim, in my opinion.
They haven’t really done much in the way of engaging with other people - I’d say that’s mostly due to the back and forth Neon & Atlas have had this entire time. The argument which seems like, to me, two towns who genuinely both believe that the other one is evil going at it. This is honestly my biggest case for why Atlas is town at all.
I don’t think a wolf would be able to push someone with as much conviction as Atlas does because the wolf would know they are wrong and pushing a townie. They’d have their argument stuck on one thing like the mis-execution and probably just continue to try and push that the entire day. Atlas hasn’t really done that. Their push started because of the mis-execution and the D2 entrance but I don’t really feel like the reason they’re still pushing Neon (or were) is that.
Also I get the feeling wolves wouldn’t really try “Look” for the reasoning behind someones push or their allignment or really anything. They’d just want the other person dead because they know that’s how they can get closer to winning. They only need to feign that stuff to get people to trust them but if they’re trying to push someone then who cares if the person you want dead trusts you. I don’t think they’d waste time trying to explain to you their reasoning - because what would that even achieve? “Hell yeah I agree with you lets lynch me today ”
I don’t know. This kind of behaviour makes me think Atlas is town and you’re free to disagree with me and vote them if you don’t believe me.
