@Jarek if Magnus had the perfect solve with 3/3 scum i doubt scum!May shades Magnus to defend all three to be honest. Cause anyone of them flipping wolf hard links them to her.
If she was scum, she’d shade that list if there were town in that list to make some townies look bad if she flips first or to look good if her teammate in that list flips first.
I do actually have a real reason for scumreading you! I was sitting in my car like an hour before EoD on D2, and I had nothing in particular to think about, so I was like hmmm, who is the mafia, let me come at this with a fresh and smart perspective. And I wasn’t driving at the time, so I literally closed my eyes and meditated on it for a few moments, and boom. Leafia and Atlas scum together read.
Obviously this is not literally the reason I have such confidence in it. I went back to the thread during the night phase and read everything over, and formed a real opinion on it, but it’s legitimately just… I was spending all of D1 and D2 making connections, figuring out who could possibly be aligned, and as I said on D2, I only needed a single breakthrough to make it all click. It clicked.
This is my playstyle - mess around a lot on early days, make temporary reads, start some pushes I don’t believe in, and reactions and flips allow me to piece together sudden, confident reads. I’ve told you all I get N1ed a ton on my home-not-a-site, and despite my jokes about Zorvo overestimating me, there’s a reason why!
I obviously also get further confidence from the thread state and how Leafia’s been pushing me. It’s a 1v1.
Sidenote if this ends up being town v town (possibility that’s so slim in my mind I refuse to seriously consider it, do not take this note as me trying to raise it), actually I wasn’t joking I was 100% serious about Zorvo overestimating me I’ve never been overconfident in my life
Leafia if they are super evil and I am convinced they are:
Entered the thread and declared Okazo a lost villager and townleaned them for it, because if they were a wolf they’d be asking their teammates for help. Which is fair. I Can see that. However, this assessment is not hard to make when you consider that if they are a wolf themselves they would know that this person is a villager.
In response to me declaring Okazo & Zorvo are alligned they agreed with me. In fact they seem to agree with a lot of things people are saying (post#395). They like Magnus, and declare they have a villagery feel for their posts. Is this TMI that magnus is a villager and they know it? Why can’t they explain it? They are voting LemonFairy, who could be a wolf teammate based on what I think - But this could be an early pocket attempt by siding with a vocal townies vote on a wolf to get some early creds if the wolf goes over, and to begin to dissassociate early.
Then magnus says there’s a wolf in these four, myself included, agrees and gives a list from most to least in their own opinion. It could be two villagers agreeing with eachother, especially with the town-read, but it could also be more of a pocketing attempt. If I’m looking at this as if I’m convinced they are a wolf, this IS a pocketing attempt. Why would magnus die later on then? Especially with Magnus town reading Leafia so much? Dual purpose reason, in my opinion. Magnus is loud and more importantly, a Power role. He needs to die. Doesn’t matter what wolves are pocketing him. Best thing you can do in that situation is get a town-read from him and then murder him to point at it later, right? It would make sense to me.
Lots of fluff and talking after that - Some of it Supporting magnus. They could be friendly. I know Leafia is a friendly person so I can buy that, but…the whole pocketing angle…They defend Magnus from Memes at post #1839 a little bit, but aside from that, just fluff.
At #2431 they make a point against neon, seems like they both think SK was wolfy (at the time) and think that Neon’s reason for townreading them is flimsy because they only TR them for defending them. Leafia seems to think SK voting them is wolfy. Could be a wolf seeing two people making connections early and seeking to stop it, or prod at it? maybe they suspect a mason? my case here is flimsy. Maybe SK and Leafia are distancing here?
Zorvo wants SK/Okazo to go over and they vote Okazo. They town-read Okazo earlier, They wolf-read SK. what’s the vote with Okazo doing there if they wolf-read SK? I may have missed something but I didn’t see anything change. Feel free to look into that yourself I could be wrong but if I’m not, definitely odd. The post later on goes on to declare that SK a little later on. The defense they have is apparently villagery. I don’t know if I believe that or not but everyone else can decide.
A bit odd to defend Lemon from being called obvious here. From my “objectively this person is a wolf” bias, they’re trying to down-play the fact a wolf did in fact just get outed. If true, they got away with it. because Lemon is still alive.
Distancing if Atlas is a wolf.
Lots of fluff. They support an Okazo execution but at the time who didn’t.
Feels like theatre.
Could this imply that if Leafia is a wolf bussing Atlas, SK is a deepwolf here? It’s interesting. Why is SK town-core if Atlas flips here? I’m missng something that’s for sure.
The last time someone tried to motivational talk me it was Kiiruma and they ended up being a wolf who made me follow their vote because I trusted them. Pep talks are nice, but they can be devious.
After reading my case Against Neon, they decide that I’m the vote. Kinda funny.
After that, they agree with both me & Memes on both sides of our argument. This has been pointed out as scummy behaviour by a few people and I agree. Seems like an attempt to fuel both sides of the argument. They also want me to die with the following argument:
The last part “If he shoots a village we lose but if he does the game will be over and the presssure to find the wolves will be gone” is a very odd statement to make for a townie who is voting someone they believe to be a townie, when you could just defend me instead and vote a scum and not have to kill a townie and potentially lose the game to do it. It’s not like Leafia has been in any big arguments this game where they’d be mentally taxed and willing to take an easier way out - I’d accept this line of thinking from Atlas or myself, but not from Leafia,. It’s odd.
I dunno. Odd statement to make in my opinion. This kind of line of thinking is exactly why someone leaves someone alive so they can use this argument against them. Magnus & Lol were better kills. Memes was, in his own words, a pocketed vigilante to a wolf. They’d never kill him. If Leafia is a wolf, this is them trying to get out of the tight spot of being scumread using other peoples’ townreads on them as a defense rather than anything else. They could Mis-exe memes, but perhaps there’s concern that memes would know right away what’s going on and would push hard against it.
That’s not a reason May and what do you think someone’s going to do when you start pushing them in bad faith for no reason? Especially when I’m known to do so regardless of my alignment? Either come up with a real reason to scumread me or drop the senseless push on me.
what in particular pinged you to me being scum
and what paired me with leafia
and i’d prefer if you explained my counterpoint to your point revolving the later i stated a bit ago
I don’t. I mentioned it multiple times, but they were all so conditional and intertwined that there’s just no real good way to share them, and many of them are subconscious rather than something I can explicitly talk about. You can see hints of them in my readlist - I gave a lot of possibilities about, say, “hey if Magnus flips scum, which I don’t think will happen, look into these posts”, “hey if Zorvo V and SK W, look into Leafia”, “O kazo is a great info vote and helps me figure out a lot” etc etc et al. It’s all held in my head until I figure out who the wolves are, and then I come into thread with it all. That’s the May Gaming Way
how is anyone supposed to talk to you about it if you can’t explain
its frustrating to be on the end of someone telling you you’re evil but they can’t explain
It’s frustrating to tell the rest of town someone is evil but you can’t explain. On my home not-a-site I just textwall back-justify it and people believe me, but I can’t pull that with more experienced people - I tried that with you all on D2 and everyone caught how weak the push was. It’s just… a feeling. I can try to quote your posts that make me feel off, though I’m multitasking right now and my friends keep accusing me of being the impostor because I stand there staring at walls playing mafia instead of doing my tasks
