Not saving one self could mean one of four things.

  1. They shrimply just forgot to save themselves as Mafia
  2. Knew their game was over so didn’t self pres to build the wagon’s credibility by them dying
  3. Didn’t want to jump ship because a mafia partner was on beancat (I had my vote ready to swap on standby)
  4. Town

that’s how I was reading it, since realistically any townie would go “hmmm ok so either I die here, or I vote someone else and have a 50/50 chance of succeeding in self-pres”

I can see:

  • w!Frink hoping till the end someone would switch, and then deciding that a absolute-last-second switch would look wolfy should he even survive, whereas not self-pres-voting would look towny in death
  • T!Frink deciding not to self-pres for… some reason?
  • Frink/Beancat w/w (lol)
  • Frink (either alignment) deciding to self-pres but then missing the deadline (unlikely but it’s not, like, impossible)

I don’t view our lack of ability to help solve in thread is too large a concern, because either:

  • a wolf (or two) is eliminated in Hell phases 1 and 2, in which case we’re in a good spot
  • no wolves are eliminated in Hell phases 1 and 2, in which case a strong townie in heaven is needed to save judgement day

I guess this is partially my tendency to plan for the worst case scenario though ttbhtbthbthtbhtbthb but mmmmmmm.
I could math things for a bit

I did some maths earlier. In the first three phases of the game if no judgment day occurs it would mean a mafia got sent to hell or heaven.

I don’t see how that can ever be a towntell. For instance, I do it far more often as a wolf.

I honestly thought Hell phase was going to be 48 hours.

Frink’s desperate vote on me has me thinking we sent a wolf to Hell.
