I’m not letting you do the fucking thing Arctic told you that you do (which you do, in fact, do). You are not allowed to bottom your way into losing forum mafia this game. You are going to make offense with your votes. They’re going to be meaningful.

Only actions which are “against the flow” of the game meaningfully constitute playing it, i.e. only non-bottom actions are playing forum mafia. If you only vote for people who look like they’re going to get executed, you are basically not voting.

The mafia exist and will make changes and agitate the solution of this game until its general state is favourable to them. If the village do not push against things, then when the particulate has all settled the village will be losing. Your job is to not let that happen. If you follow what seems like settled science you will lose

In general I feel like people try to avoid… taking actions. That’s my complaint with the bottom stuff. I know this because I observe it in myself. Frequently in the mafia game I try to do the thing that makes the outcome the least my fault. If I change my vote to swap the execution and it’s a misexecution that’s my fault but if I stay on a random wagon then it’s not my fault. If I follow the reads of the dead villagers and do an execution that’s not my fault but if I go against their reads and place a different vote then that is my fault. It’s a lack of initiative, it is literally letting other people take control and going along with whatever happens.
