Flipless Purgatory - Town Victory!

My ego is not dependent on mafia anymore, so that one doesnt work

And its implied that i mean not to hammer me,

  • over time it is more likely childe chooses correctly

No it isn’t implied. Nice try though and your trickery won’t work on Childe. I’m hard unpaired from every potential wolf. Good night now wolf. :sleepingleafeon:

If your argument is “your post didnt mean that” when:
I am saying it meant that
It feasibly means that
There is precedent in previous mafia games for people saying that ad town

I think weve won

That’s not my argument and you know it. I just had to wait for word from Zone if voting for myself to be sent to Hell so that Soweli can get sent to Hell in judgement day would be considered gamethrowing and it isn’t. Otherwise I would’ve done this long ago. I’m 99.5% sure Soweli is the final wolf those in Heaven. Let Judgement Day commence! VOTE: Leafia

Hell Phase 4 Final Votecount

Leafia (2): soweli, Leafia

Not Voting (1): childe

Leafia has been sent to Hell.

Judgement Day has begun.

Now I know I said to the Martyrs that they will discuss and vote in Martyr Chat, but that was only to prevent information exchange in case there were multiple Judgment Days.

Considering this is the only and final Judgement Day in this game, I will open the thread for you Martyrs instead.

Everyone else (i.e., childe and soweli) are no longer allowed to speak.

Quick commentary for everyone else, it doesn’t really matter I’m just padding time because I thought Leafia was evil again and I want to readjust. Bleh.
Meme’s evil.

Cool my hangout is complete.
I was confbiased on Pandora being town with FRink being evil, and I still think that seems ~broadly correct, with a few reservations. On the first day, Meme posted a theory log on the game (and in Combinatorics, Pandora operated on broadly the same scale in Mason chat); in which case evil could be suggested to discuss their analytics proactively whereas w!FRink lends the inverse progression. In particular, this sort of checkpointing feels beat for beat.

Meme decided to trust Soweli without emphasis on D1 whilst arbitrarily pressure-voting Childe, although the latter was never at risk of faltering… okay, so most significantly Meme cultivated a false dichotomy in which Soweli and our slot’s alignments were invariably tethered. Furthermore, in heaven chat Meme persisted with the understanding that Soweli and Leafia needed to be on opposite teams, and therefore Childe was clear… if Soweli is evil, the intent is to initially (whilst alive) support Soweli’s position; then to reverse-psychology us into suspecting Childe, I think. The lack of enthusiasm after Chomps died supports this hypothesis, probably.
(#420) (#421)

My dog’s barking so I’m getting distracted, but the fundamental check is how Soweli engaged with Soweli’s slot afterwards at all.

Soweli was villagery but not in a way that’d be difficult to fake at all, granted. I wouldn’t vote there yet, without editorial input from friends here, but it’s valid.

D1: Soweli voted FRink initially at Zug’s behest, then felt bad about its stagnancy and tried shifting the votes unto Beancat whilst frequently probing FRink for updates. Eventually realising the inadequacy of this venture, recognising FRink was never getting out from the POE with that performance, Soweli switched back and just accepted it. Childe was never mentioned.

D2: Soweli effectively ran a monopoly on voting our slot for ascension, when theoretically w!Soweli would rather self-vote for wincon purposes anyhow. Especially if FRink were evil… my counterview is that w!Meme presumably wouldn’t have wished to ascend so quickly if Childe were the last floating evil, since they’d have a hell of a time raising themselves alone if so.

D3/D4: lightning rounds. Soweli and Meme both voted for Pandora to be hammered, although most notably for the former, it was a potentially secretive defensive switch — Pandora had been voting Soweli, alone but it was by a margin of one and Leafia (now confirmed town) had been suspecting Soweli frequently by this time. On the following day, Soweli appeared very late to push Meme upward with practically zero effort — by the way, this is what disproves the Soweli / Mittens world some of you’ve been preaching for days, w!Soweli self-votes right here and wins the game if Meme is town. Smh.

Anyhow I’ve answered my own question. Soweli was setting Childe up as a valid target for suspicion whilst actively avoiding the slot until Leafia forced her hand yesterday. (For which I will say that Leafia has been extremely not useless this game and I will commend your energy. You might not have been built for heaven, but you will rock that highway regardless. Thank you!!)

@Zugzwang your turn next.

This is pretty bad timing but I should be able to be here for many hours tonight so it’s doable, so long as I’m not too tired

-:coffee:

I think I should really be rereading all of thread here first to avoid confbiasing myself into anything
GTH I would sheep Magnus if I had to vote immediately but tbf that is in part because it’s the option I get less blame for because in a T!Soweli world they misvoted Meme ttbthbthbthbthtbhtbhtbthbthbthb
NO bottoming allowed

I’m now at 186

I think some of my reasons for townreading Soweli were maybe not valid

because

  • In the context of the second quote, w!Soweli has strong incentive to switch the wagon onto beancat in a w!Frink world (and out of Frink/Pandora I think Frink is a more likely wolf, though I should be reviewing that too)
  • The the third quote is during a back-and-forth with Chomps where Chomps tries to convince Soweli to vote Beancat - this doesn’t entirely negate the point, but… not sure how to explain it. It’s like. It fits with w!Soweli figuring out how to weasel out of their current vote on Frink, I think? I might be confbiasing here

I do wish I spent more time during earlier days reviewing things thbthtbthbthbthbthb because I. didnt for the most part. and now I have to figure things out in like a few hours

mmmmmmm

there’s also this stuff that came before that:

Soweli tries to get more votes on Beancat for science, seen here (notably this is Soweli asking Meme):

then Pandora pops in to vote Frink:

the thing that really bothers me about this is that the soweli/meme/Frink world is like. on the edge of making sense here
