Flipless Purgatory - Town Victory!

the thing that really bothers me about this is that the soweli/meme/Frink world is like. on the edge of making sense here

ok back

To elaborate on this
I can see w!Soweli trying to shift the wagons onto beancat (who’s confirmed town now), and then changing their mind after T!pandora votes W!Frink
Buuuuuuuut then it’s like… Meme/Soweli/Frink clearly have enough votes to get beancat over anyway, and then they don’t
And soweli chooses to vote Frink before Meme makes an awkward vote onto beancat

so hhhhhhhhhhhhhh

But also it’s like
The vote from Soweli on Frink was a little over a minute before the vote from Meme on Beancat
so I can see a world where wolfchat just failed to coordinate
Actually
I think from my experience in Soweli in Wrogn 2 they didn’t talk in wolfchat much

no

Soweli not noticing this is… IDK what to think about anything this is bad

ā€œforget her… and everything she said, she liedā€¦ā€

somewhat unpairing for pandora/soweli though that’s not a world I thought likely regardless

IDK if this is at all believable as something town wouldn’t know
@Magnus if you’re here thoughts

Mycologist head turn. You’ve forgotten to sign all your posts.
I’ve effectively discounted that individual anomaly because yes, it is bizarre; but Childe also mentioned not knowing how to play the game in the signup thread and it’s been a consistent demeanour if so. Basically w!Childe would’ve been setting up this characterisation from before starting the game if it’s made up, or at least swerving too heavily into the act if it started as genuine; whereas v!Childe presumably skimmed the OP, saw ā€œthreeā€ Mafia, then discounted everything else in the OP which lacked trigger words. I’m saying it could be faked, but it fits consistently into Childe’s early behaviour so I can’t really discern alone whether it makes sense to be fabricated. Just sorta drawing an arbitrary line. Actually, Childe possibly just took ā€œjudgment dayā€ as MELO and didn’t read further if it’s genuine… hmph.

interesting post
I’m currently at #438 in the reread which is this

On the one hand, mixing up posts from a wolfmate to a villager is odd (…this is admittedly based on my own experience of wolfing and my own mental models of what wolfing is like rather than actual experience, so maybe this is just plainly wrong)

On the other hand they notably find Frink to be a likely wolf and should probably be wary about townreading Meme as a result; I’ll have to note what changes if anything between this and Soweli’s eventual vote getting Meme into heaven in the following phase

oh
wonderful draft errors I see

ah, I have
Partially because I’m mainly talking to you and myself at this point, but I suppose I will attempt to sign for some clarity if Chomps wishes to read this in detail

-:coffee:

this looks very good for pandora
which is… not particularly useful but it does let me be a bit more secure in building w!Frink

-:coffee:

hhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
well the issue here is that W!Frink looks bad on all of beancat/chomps/meme so it’s not indefensible for Soweli to then vote meme later

-:coffee: As usual

Currently I think Soweli makes the most sense as the wolf
Because Meme distancing from Childe in the way they did feels… very risky if they’re w/w
There’s a high risk Childe got sent to Hell during Hell Phase 3 as a result of the way Meme was playing, which’d lose for wolves

-:coffee:

I do think that if Soweli’s the wolf, I’ve been underestimating them as a result of Wrogn 2
I do remember them mentioning in that wolfchat that they wont a 11v2 mountainous (note the non-standard numbers) in Wrogn 2 wolfchat so maybe that was simply an offgame from them

-:coffee:

readthrough completed
I have yet to ISO Soweli and Childe to find if their progressions make sense
A bizarre progression was the reason I caught Meme during Hell 2 so hopefully that can make things clear again here

-:coffee:

I have to go now
I’ll be back soon

@Chomps we’ll need your vote here to outvote Meme
If possible I’d like to finish analyzing before we vote
If you have to go offline for the night I would vote Soweli
