Tagging for our action. Assuming we can add Ranta’s to the count for Blizer’s post.

Also, please be sure to use a d12 instead of a d6 this time. Thanks!

As you lean toward it, the imp starts to reach for your nose with its little clawed fingers, but you quickly say, “Wait! I have news for you.” Its fingers pause in midair and a quizzical look comes over its face.

“The gate to your plane is open. You can leave now.” To find out if the imp believes you, roll the die.

Die Roll: 9

A brief flash of hope crosses the imp’s wizened face, but it quickly turns from hope to disappointment to derision to anger to determination… as it attacks you.

You have decided to take on the imp in this area. The creature is small, but you have heard legends about its magical powers of destruction. You can also see a barbed tail covered in some sort of green goo. Your mind races over the battling choices, and you pick what you hope is the right fighting plan:

A — Rush in swinging, trying to crush the imp with your power punch.

B — Stand back and start throwing whatever is handy, to try to knock the small creature out, so you don’t have to face what could be a poisoned tail.

C — Try shouting, and waving your powered-armor arms to just scare it out of the area.

D — Catch or at least shoo away the imp, with the help of the gnomes with and near you.

I will be checking in between 2022-01-22T23:30:00Z and 2022-01-23T05:30:00Z. If a decision is not made by that latter time, one will be randomized for you. As before, if you are certain on a decision, one player should declare it and tag me in their post. If over 50% (including the declarer) of the initial players like that post, I will take that decision as final. You may still like posts if you are not one of the initial players, but your like will not weigh into the vote unless you have been part of the discussion since the most recent decision point (i.e. this post).

Oh, at least we get a chance to battle instead of just losing to an imp

maybe we do B bc it could have a poison tail

Yeah, B looks like a good one. Maybe we’ll get lucky and pick up something powerful to throw. Supposedly lots of weapons or gadgets around.

D sounds good also

they are fodder

and we are in the armory

this one

I do wonder what type of help the gnomes would provide. It says they are focused on their work, but maybe they would be able to use something to catch it.

There’s probably a die roll for either choice and either could end up being bad or good depending on it. Like I could see how with B we might throw something and miss and break something that causes a problem if we roll badly.

Haha, A is about the only one that doesn’t seem like a good idea

gnomes are at our beck and call, so uhh, hey will focus on the imp

I dont think this would be mentioned for no reason so I think imp has poison tail so we shouldnt get close to it or allow it to get close to us

True, and it does say both the gnomes with us and the ones near us. That’s a pretty big group.

Yeah true, though it could also be misleading. I actually wonder if we should have gone to the Library first and read up on imps

The gnomes wont know what to do, don’t pick the gnomes lol
