Also another reason a spy might fail group 1 is that they have no idea who oberon is. If kiiruma or childe is a group spy they might have been scared the other one (or me) was oberon so way less likely to fail it as outting as 2/3 in first round seems super duper rough.

They are. That’s why “N1 +1” is a largely accepted proposition. With the general idea being that the +1 is the evil one if it fails. Which isn’t always true

No one is assuming that the three that went on the first mission bbn must be town because it’s possible that one or more of them are spied. It just isn’t as likely as before the mission. They just have a bit more tfust than before, that’s all.

Yeahhhhhhhhh except they are, that’s literally what N1 +1 is it implies trust on those 3 people that the +1 isn’t afforded and if you fall for that pitfall the game is already over before it started you can call me evil for advising caution if you want I truly do not care, Especially since you yourself could be evil, but it’s stating facts.
