As for what I think of Illwei, I like how they have a clear thought process going on, even if their reads haven’t always been the best. It’s easy to understand where they’re coming from, and it feels really villagery, so I think Illwei is pretty likely to be a villager.

Yes, but I feel like it’s completely different. The way pigeon was playing vs the way cloned was playing imo were completely different types of players. IMO my push was objectively better even if they were both Town

I’ll admit that I have 0 idea how to read Eli since I’ve misread him 3 times already, but there’s time where I kinda have to go with just straight forward thinking and taking the EOD actions during a TvT wagon battle into account is something I can at least try to lean onto when I’m not sure, which is why I think Eli has a good possibility to be mafia.
Got Professor, Frog, Squirrel, Illwei as my main confident townreads.
After sleeping on it, I’ve concluded that Frog is… either a really, really good actor, or his ego at the moment is astronomical. I’m leaning more towards the latter.
What parts of my EOD did you not like?

I honestly don’t think this universe is big enough to hold Frog’s ego.
Trust me in the past month I’ve seen people with attitudes and egos that are 500 times worse. Though I think I don’t mind him because of his theatrical stuff that I find entertaining.
By the way I was thinking about the hard shielding stuff but you know I’m here and I wouldn’t let you die on my watch if you play normal and I find you town. I already fucked up letting you die in “Please Don’t Hate Me” mafia and I’m not going to let it happen again unless I actually think you’re mafia. You’ve seen my hard shields.
In regards to your hard shielding, I get that you know how to read certain people and you want people to take your reads seriously, but if you’re shielding someone and think that they’re actually town, the main thing you can do is explain what is in town range that the person is doing in the game.
If you just hard shield someone saying you know how to read them instead of explaining what’s town or mafia indicative of them, and I don’t know who you exactly are, then I’m not sure if I can take your stuff seriously.
Take my read on Illwei that I did Day 1 for example where I explained her town and mafia game differences. I gave full reasoning why I think she’s town despite the fact that she’s had less of a presence this game.

I was poking at cloned to see if I could get anything out of him to dissuade me from voting him and when he kept responding poorly I just stopped really caring too much

Honestly…you’re not wrong in that assessment. I’d be a hypocrite if I said Cloned deserved to die if he kept pushing on someone that claimed PR and punished you for voting him EOD.

I haven’t read up on everything that’s happened so far. I was pretty drained after the response from Frog yesterday, and I just got home from school and I’m currently playing games w/ the boys.

so I was rereading the posts right before eod1, and I came to the conclusion that pigeon’s eod1 posts felt like a wolf giving up

though this is mostly because of prof’s eod1, which in my opinion was worse than frog’s

Thoughts:
Brad feels pretty town to me; we’ve had some similar thoughts about the game and he’s been making points that I like. By extension, I’m also going to sheep his read on illwei because those two have a lot more experience with each other than I do iirc.
Already mentioned in my wall about how Eli’s post about pigeon felt forced, so I’d be fine with an Eli wagon today.
Trochi… I have no opinion on. I’m wary of approaching their posts tonally, which is also my primary method of reading people, but I’m also concerned that they’re ML bait.
If we had to thunderdome Prof and Frog, I’d prefer to vote Prof first. The push on cloned wasn’t great (not just at eod, but earlier into d1), nor was the conclusion that the wagons were W/W. That said… I’d prefer not to thunderdome those two today, since I think both are still >rand town.
Leafia is probably town. Her reads feel natural and in the very least feel like an improvement over previous games we’ve played together, so I’m interested to see where this goes. On a related note, I consider Prof’s defense of Leaf to be NAI, since t!Prof would defend Leaf instead of pushing her, and w!Prof would defend Leaf for the towncred.
