This is the post that started the Pigeon wagon and I just don’t like the progression from their iso. Like before this May was voting for the same person Pigeon is now in Leafia, so accusing them of opportunism seems a bit rich.

I wasn’t saying May was being opportunistic, I thought the issue there was why would May think that Pigeon was being opportunistic when I thought May laid out decent reasons to suspect Leafia and Pigeon was agreeing, but then May didn’t really give much thoughts as to what changed.

I think being wrong on the internet is a key tenant of social deduction games, but it’s fair to be wary of it, I guess. Refusing to make your own points does make you much harder to analyze in general, and if your points are bad, people just… won’t listen to them, and won’t vote that way.

Her last post to pigeon before voting pigeon didn’t feel like she thought Pigeon was being motivated. Just harder to solve. Maybe that is wolfy to May and I’ve love to hear more thoughts there.

Keep in mind I am the only one voting May, she’s not even a wagon I just saw her lack of content and she is the only one on the Pigeon wagon who hasn’t been posting much now that min is starting to check in so I thought it was a good place to explore.

Pigeon is at 5 votes already when it’s 8 to swing, so I feel like a vote for pigeon is a vote for praying to god pigeon is wolf and little else.

Hi. Hello. I was busy all day but I am here now and ready to play game I’ll also note that at least for this day phase, I’m hanging back a bit and listening more than I’m talking - though I’ve played longform online mafia before, it was in isolated Discord communities that weren’t always dedicated to mafia, so there’s some learning I have to do.

My logic for voting Pigeon is that I looked into the crystal ball and it said they’re mafia. This constitutes indisputable proof, and I think we should just end the day here.

But actually, it just feels like the tone behind his messages doesn’t really point to super town-y motivation - he feels like he’s more concerned with optics than anything. Pointing to a potential Leafia/whoeveritwas scumteam that early just felt… off, it felt very shallow, it felt like bringing up a possibility for the sake of a possibility.

I don’t feel super confident about my Pigeon read, but it’s my strongest gut feeling right now. I love having competing wagons, though, and I’d be happy to hop on one if people aren’t super into the Pigeon vote. It would just have to be one that I’m allowed to join - can’t self vote.

Leafia’s posts seem strange to me, though I am not experienced in the art of Poasting around here. It feels like it’s intended to throw confusion around - this post I’m replying to creates a weird connection that could mess up anyone retroactively analyzing their behavior after an evil flip. I’m keeping that post in mind for potential partnering if one of you flip wolf.

Squid looks worse then Pigeon on a Leafia!Town Flip because Squid was trying to engage Pigeon to continue to make Leafia look bad.

Mafia sometimes play as the influencers to get a wrong town to keep pushing another town harder so they are an easy ML afterwards.

Because it’s like. I felt both sides.
I felt the obvious side of which Leafia is certain type of player that you have to read a bit differently to get a solid read on.
But I actually did feel an odd feeling of Eliza!Leafia partner, However ,
I immediately scratched that idea due to the fact I agreed with what Eliza had to say and I’d probably have said that to or something similar.

Magnus has inconsistent thoughts - Lack of Town PoV.
They didn’t make stuff up once but twice. One about Squid (I think it’s their buddy them trying to defend.) another was about the read on Pigeon that just magically appeared - Slips IMO

Oh, and to further explain myself - I initially backed the Leafia train because her posts were the ones that initially jumped out to me most as being, like, strictly mafia-beneficial - they’d suck up time and energy on a backread after a scum flip and wouldn’t provide much else.

I still think this, and I’ve been keeping an eye on what she’s saying and backing, but there was a lot of talk about how Leafia was “always like this” and, given my complete unfamiliarity with essentially anyone here, I just felt out of my depth. Most of the arguments surrounding Leafia were ones I just could not participate in in any meaningful way, having no experience on this site, so I wanted to start another vote train so that I could do, like, actual analysis.
