Fwiw he started off that game with some weird RP thing but then started actually talking about the game and had plenty of content (albeit mostly one-liners and disconnected thoughts).

I’m waiting for that to happen here if he’s town.

I’ve realized that expressing my passion for pushing bad suspicions as a reaction test just after posting my case on KingTroll was a mistake, but I promise this is a real case that I actually believe and KingTroll is my #1 suspicion right now. Does anyone besides Brad have opinions on it?

I’m completely terrified of what happens when I finally rand wolf. I’ve been playing the same alignment in the same communities for game after game, building up this corpus of town meta, and now I’m going to have to replicate all that eventually. Every game I just cross my fingers that I can kick it down the road a little farther, and every game it works out. When I rand wolf, can everyone promise to like, keep me alive for maybe two day phases despite the fact that I’ll be extremely obvious about it?

I don’t have much commentary on what happened during the night, except that everyone providing content is townie and everyone trying to hinder that process is wolfy. I should place a real, non-RVS vote, but honestly, I’m sleepy and don’t want to make real reads. I’ll come back when I don’t have to leave for my torment agony hell on earth Thirty Whole Minutes commute shortly.

On the one hand, an evil has no reason to draw attention to the possibility of them being evil unless it fulfils a purpose, a way to make them look good. On the other hand, if you rand evil it’s always on your mind, and sometimes you feel the need to post your thoughts about it. I can’t remember May mentioning future wolf games in Morbtainado or Flicker, but maybe I’m misremembering. Maybe I’ll check in the future.

I’m awful at finding scumreads.

Easier to find townreads as wolfreads as evil, because good act good and you don’t want to accuse your fellow evils. Might be a clue.

It’s kind of funny that he’s saying that because I found the case extremely forced and performative. If it’s not fake then May is trending down for me.

I kind of think he’s saying it’s not fake but it’s actually fake and was done for reactions. And yes I do realize that me saying that aloud defeats the point but I’ve expressed a similar sentiment already so w/e.

Lie! Lying is so cool! Do it as town! Do it as scum! Make a case on someone and immediately turn on anyone who votes it! Bait the wolves into killing your scumreads to get them out of your PoE! Reads and votes are a tool, especially D1 and D2, to get reactions and interactions to find the actual scum with. It’s so bizarre to me when people choose not to interact with the game because “oh well there’s not enough evidence”… you can create evidence by being wrong, a thousand times easier than being right.

You don’t necessarily need to “lie”, but you can misrepresent yourself. Scumreading is all about drawing up possibilities you may or may not believe in, so why isn’t that lying? Isn’t social deduction all about lying to yourself?

Setting up a new wagon when you dislike the current wagons is a good look.
Yes, it’s possible w!Zorvo wants to redirect attention from another evil, but otherwise an evil doesn’t need to do this. It’s a good look, not a surefire look.
