I wasn’t lying. I asked the hosts how my role worked and then what I was told is what I said in the thread. So if you were actually told something different, they changed how it worked between when they sent you the Mayor rolecard and what they told me.
(And this is entirely possible because they updated my rolecard mid-N1, but I knew for longer than that, that I couldn’t turn on/off my double vote because I asked before D1 started.)

Host confirmed they told you and me same thing.

And I was told mayor is active ability. Which can just not be activated for any given lynch if they chose so.

So you can activate it on day 2 and have 2 votes on d2, but chose not to actovate it on d1 and d3 and have a single vote.

realistically you aren’t going to be criticized too heavily for who you claim to visit as doc because the only egregiously terrible claims would be on poe slots since they’d never get attacked, but as arso you wouldn’t be dousing those slots anyway - you’d want to be going for middle of the pack slots who would be more likely to live to endgame, and these target choices could easily be defended by invoking mindgames of doc dodging or whatever. no one is really going to kill you over an action like that unless it’s undeniably outting, which it almost never will be

People are always going to analyze actions.
And not protecting sheriff who just found scum or like protecting gorta over Achro would be very much looked down upon.

And gorta is a good example of person who would live till endgame.

But most important of all, you are currently defending ONLY non-confirmable role.
And while I agree this one would be easiest to go for and still doable, other ones would be straightforward not doable.

And again, arso role was not immune.

Fair.

As I said - doc was only viable claim in reality, but still with many bumps.

And then paints a target on my back and kills me.

In reality best would be to just never be targeted by any town AND mafia role.
Never be helpful enough to be killed.
Never be suspicious enough to be lynched.

But that is way less likely to haplen than me to just redo the arso+town alliance.

And honestly, I still prefer to tale game into my hands than just hope forever that nothing comes to me while being 100% inactive.

No shade but with the maf team and how d1 was playing out i legit think eveee has good chance to win if they dont out.

D1 marl still gets hung, wolves kill vul prolly, i reckon town still hangs bras cuz of le ahcro.

Eevee was set to go to like final 8 p easily imo. We wldnt have hung them over anyone we hung tbh
