It’s a vote with no reasoning - not at first. The reasoning is given later.
Eliza quotes a post where Achromatic wolfcased Marl. Apparently, that’s the post that made her wolfread Achromatic.
However, take a look at her reasoning.
She freely admits to having no context on the first two points Achromatic made.
In regards to the third point, she only says that Marl is being himself. She even backtracks immediately afterward, saying that she may have missed something.
So, in essence, Eliza has no reason to call Achromatic a wolf for this post. She essentially admits as much by claiming she has no context for his claims. Yet, she still voted him and said she had a wolfread on him. Even though her reasoning obviously doesn’t hold up, and she undermined it a few times.
She then levels herself into still believing the read, and keeps her vote on Achromatic. Now, her claim is that Achromatic provided no evidence for his wolfread on Marl.
I think this always comes from a villager. I’m fully convinced a wolf would make something up right away to justify their vote. What Eliza does instead is level herself out of her original reasoning, only to go with new reasoning. This stubborn insistence is towny. The fact she maintains the wolfread despite realizing her reasoning was bad is towny. Wolves wouldn’t have this stubbornness, because the read was fake to begin with. If wolf!Eliza noticed the fact her read was poorly constructed, she would throw it away, I think. Or she would have made up stronger reasoning in the first place.
It’s a genuine thought process, it’s a towny thought process, and it’s towny behavior, I believe.
You can argue that wolf!Eliza fumbled her wolfread. However, the post where she justified it required effort. You’d think she’d make up a good reason if she went to the trouble of quoting Achromatic three times. She didn’t, she changed her mind about her reasoning, but refused to change her mind on the read. That’s very towny IMO and I’m confident enough that I’ll be shielding her for the entire game.
If i have trouble reading a player independently i would usually just wait for flips or mechs. I dont usually have a hard time reading people once i know how they play though but there have been a few
I like this analysis
It’s easy for wolf team to let Eliza die as LHF town
I dunno if this makes Vulgard town but I do think it reads as a genuine opinion
Oh yeah, I also saw people talk up my wolfgame. Yes, my wolfrange is extremely broad, but if I randed W, I also would’ve been a bit more laid-back, as I am here. Or as I think I am here.
I don’t think this is necessarily helpful, but I do think it needs to be said.
I feel like it wasnt exactly a brave town read of eliza though given previous discussion about her. Its not wrong but also i dont know who was itching to lynch eliza
Well, some people thought my townread on Eliza was unfounded, so I went and checked her ISO again. I honestly thought I’d change my mind upon seeing it, but nope, I instead found this and I’m only more confident now.
im telling you its a waste of my time
thats why im not
im already mildly upset about this game and i don’t want to make it worse by doing random things that waste my time
if you really want me to read it i will but i really do not want to
