Anyway I am no longer pulling double duty in mafia games over at MU so I am going to do a few interaction analysis stuff and so what I can’t find for everyone.
I am going to pre-flip Brad since if Brad is town after no showing for 16 hours I will have bigger problems than the time I wasted reading a short ISO.
So this post and the reply chain involving Vul might be bad. Vul is immediately on Brad for his logic to give Leafia a villager check too loosely. Will see how this develops.
This is a response to Illwei not liking a post from Leafia. I don’t think w!brad makes this post about w!leafia’s taking an attack early. It also feels like Brad is trying to pocket Illwei here.

So my only hesitation against clearing Hippo strongly is I don’t know him well, but after my ISO I think he has a strong chance of being town.
Just flat out denies Marl’s case on Wazza.
Is funny and doesn’t have to actually be town but…
So this was when Marl only had my vote on him. Hippo comes off super relaxed, having a good time with joking with me, and sustains his vote as more serious than just goofing around early in the Marl around. This would be a really well executed bus. Like, it comes off not only well timing wise so early but also convincing with how at ease Hippo feels here. It’s not ‘clearing’, but it is pretty darn close.
Alice does not like this, but I 100% get this from a town perspective and I feel like it would be much easier to just go onto Leafia for TMI’ing marl as ‘town’ or something, instead of choosing to hop on very early onto a bus.
Like… I don’t know anyone’s skill ranges. Like I feel this is blatant but both Alice and Windy are noted to be good players and both don’t like Hippo much to varying degrees. I know I don’t think Windy is wolfing though, so I don’t know if I am being harsh on Alice for wolf reading Hippo here but I don’t like it.

I didn’t like this at the time, but I think looking back Hippo had just saw something from Leafia that had pinged him (and fair enough it didn’t look great) so within context it was fine for him to want to pursue that latest ping.

Like I wonder what day one looks like if I am not here. Alice is a respected player who tried to subtly pull away from Marl to give it a day. This gives Marl a night to scan someone, hopefully spicy, and use their claimkill on it. Hippo on the other hand reinforced his read a lot. I am an anchor around the feet of a wolf like marl, I wonder if I wasn’t here to pound that rock all day if Alice would have found someone else to lynch, and seeing as I am town reading Hippo quite a lot right now this looks really bad for Alice once I remove myself from the picture and imagine day one without me making sure Marl got buried.
So I didn’t expect Hippo to look this good on re-read with fresh eyes, because I ISO’d to find the eevee stuff which I think is clearing

But Marl KNEW eevee wasn’t fpsing because wolves got the same info that eevee had, so marl stepped in and outed himself.
Why?
Because people like Hippo was spewing themselves town by being confused and questioning Eevee. So Marl needed to take the take the attention off of Eevee and onto other matters.
Hippo is almost certainly LOCK TOWN from this interaction. I will never move off of this read. I would almost be willing to just snap say “He got framed” if someone red checked him night one. This is overwhelmingly town.

Actually instead of another ISO, in honor of my new best friend Eevee (I think we’re going to get along great!) who was murdered VICIOUSLY by the Cowardly wolf team, I will do what they asked of us all and help town win by seeing if anyone else did something to spew them clear like I think Hippo did.

This can easily be a wolf post opining on why Eevee is doing this.
Unfortunately… .marl comes in before anyone else can. I wish more people had been around to discuss this. But I think I got a confident Windy/Atlas/Hippo never Third Party or Wolf (so that’s not bad considering SKs are hard to catch) and a lot of wolf equity heaped onto Alice.
Also now reading this it becomes even more obvious about what I said before: Eevee was killed because Eevee would have spewed so, so many town trying to understand and discuss this more in clearly uninformed ways. It all makes sense now.
the shrug kind of sums up Alice here. I can almost feel the seething behind her posts after this happened. Eevee basically hard fucked wolves in a pretty bullshit way that post-game is going to be talked about heavily, and honestly? Brad and Alice’s play since then has reflected that feeling. I get it, btw, if this statement is true, but as town it is still my job to clean up the mess and make sure that the SK doesn’t get out of hand.
I just don’t buy that Alice didn’t know that the vig was guilt vig, this was not new information from evee/marl, but in the opening.

You all will have more precise meta on people’s ability to fake confusion and lack of understanding in terms of those rapid fire town reads. I leave it up to the judgment of those still alive to determine if the clears I presented are too forgiving or not. The clears didn’t usually fully account for everything, just a rough read.
