Day two Alice, let’s see how she matches up interactions wise with the other wolf candidates I have. (Wazza/Brad/Eliza/Leafia)

Note I am pre-flipping or anything, just looking for equity of certain pairings while I have some time.

Think the town core is solid, but the Hippo push is starting to seem really lazy. Brad is pretty high up on the list, nothing that would make me think they couldn’t be wolfing together. In fact, my other two wolf slots currently are found in the bottom of town and the mid to upper half of the wolf lean category. Kinda funny how that ended up happening.

This explanation about Eliza could be w/w, doesn’t feel very well formed.

This doesn’t seem to really fit w/w scenarios for me, I admit. “Buddy, I will pursue you as possible wolf if the villager I want to die flip villager”

So that’s one less pairing in my head.

Two players I think are possible wolf with Alice Alice says are v/v. Hm. Maybe this is earnest and I need to iso Eliza next independently of Alice.

Hmmm, doesn’t feel w/w to me? Feels like, if Alice is wolf, this is more of a pocket to get momentum on v!plague and not talking to a buddy.

Hippo I have made clear, Plague is neutral, and the three she mentioned are wolf/town/town to me.

… So something to note here. I don’t know how Alice usually plays, but she did this with Marl too. Cite previous experience and once someone clearly town had pushed the wagon for a bit, shows up and goes ‘Yeah this is good.’ Alice has not been leading the charge either day, and this post reminded me of that.

If Alice is a wolf the team probably is four is my take away from this fwiw.

ehh… honestly not seeing the good play from Alice on Hippo here. Like she accuses Hippo of being lazy but this read of events about Hippo is much lazier. Just every time I see it I think ‘I don’t buy this as a really well thought out point.’

this is a post that sounds strong but it could potentially lead to v hippo dying (I have hippo cleared for a few reasons as stated) and then right after a train on Leafia starts. This post is careless if town and clever if Alice is a wolf. I have been told she is a great player, so I lean wolf.

Alice has focused a lot on plague. Honestly? If we can get an invest on Plague and it turns up good I don’t think there’s a single good reason not to blast Alice into space. Even without that it’s… not looking great from my pov.

I mean, Alice is not wrong.

On the other hand, I just had a traumatic experience in Champs citing one game metas to try to determine alignment on players so I’d rather gouge my eyes out rather than take this over more complex thoughts from this game.

Plague is an excellent invest though, if this didn’t happen already n1.

… So this makes no sense. Hippo voted early in the day along with me, which meant the lynch wasn’t sealed. So Hippo more or less stayed on Marl all day while the lynch wasn’t sealed, reaffirming a few times that marl looked bad and sticking with it, and then Alice says after he got buried by me (danke, Alice) and claimed Ret he ‘kind of had to be bussed.’

But… Hippo sheeped me on marl right away. When the lynch wasn’t sealed. And stuck with it. That’s called being town with a good vote, not wolf.

This post is just straight up howling.

So yeah. Reading Alice again I really don’t like how she has never re-evaluated her read on Hippo all of today. If we have any additional KP tonight I would not be against shooting Alice.

I thought we had a discussion on how anticlaim works based on the public feedback list at the OP? Not everyone participated, and we had to explain it all over again, but I already knew about it after seeing Eliza talk about it.

You would 100% know that you don’t need to claim your role to get murdered. An anti claim is always just mentioning the person’s real role, not you saying it. Otherwise Mafia Rolecop wouldn’t be cool.

You knew it existed, but you didn’t have the mechanical knowledge.

Also you arguing against me clearing you when I am top town poster with no possible motivation other than trying to help you is also, in my experience, >>rand town.

Also oops I deleted a post I was working on replying to this, oh well I just got started.

I was gone. I want to be gone again.

I initially wanted Leafia dead because of spew and the fact that she is a distraction, but then I saw Alice and Achro defend her and now we are pushing Brad instead.

I may be biased, but at this very moment I see more content from Achro than from Alice, and given Alice’s history as deepwolf… I am unsure whether voting Brad over Alice is a good idea.

My definition of deepwolfing is hiding among the town and being as least conspicuous as possible as to survive all the way to endgame.

I don’t exactly know how Alice wouldn’t continue deepwolfing after that post to be honest.
…I might need a refresher on the definition of mafia terminology soon.

She spent the first 60 talking about mechanics in a way that was not helpful to anyone other than her post count.

A wolf Eliza would enjoy seeing two members of town fighting. (I called it probable v/v at the time)

By post 82 of 111 she has done nothing more than the vote on me and discuss mechs.

Open question: Is it common for Eliza to not be able to keep up with the thread?

To ask for a 100 post segment to read, get it, say how she is going to do it, and then revert to a joke without ever doing the thing she said she was going to do?

I don’t know Eliza, but a reading without understanding this comes across as someone who very possibly chainsawed the person leading the marl wagon as their only vote day one, and someone who is deeply unmotivated day 2 which would fit the archetype of a wolf team in dire straits and with someone who doesn’t have a strong willpower to wolf hard even in difficult times. I will let someone who gave in depth reads on Eliza earlier who I trust tell me if I am off base @Vulgard

To my eye, Eliza has all of the worst parts of Leafia’s content (a very bad defense of marl) without any of the content to offset it. If you think Leafia is wolf, Eliza’s defense of marl to content is much, much worse.

So currently thinking the wolf team is Brad/Alice/Eliza and the SK is who the fuck knows.

Because after Brad flips and if I die, everyone goes,“oh wait, Achromatic, who murdered Marl, just reminded us in his journal to kill Alice for him if he is dead. So, how about we just sheep that since that’s been going really well for us and he also told us the person Alice has been pushing lazily for two days is super town. Yeah! Let’s kill Alice!”

You know, because you can’t deep wolf very well if you’re voted out? :P

Mmn. Fortunately his ISO is less than that of Marl, so that ought to be less work for the future.

I’m too lazy to do pre-flip ISO though. I’d rather just hammer him so I can do the work during night phase.
