Everytime I’ve tried defending myself,all I’ve ever managed to do is to get more people convinced I was a wolf, regardless of my alignment. This game, I’m going to focus on figuring out who the wolves are.

You say it is not wolf indicative but you are wrong because a wolf and only a player with a wolf wincon would refuse to answer that because a wolf would always make that question with scum motivation without actually thinking about it, so if they say they understood it is wrong and if they didn’t to them it makes them look bad as Vulgard as wolf is a player that doesn’t like to look bad.

TL;DR:

1. Their Leafia read feels performative and TMI-y, they claim it’s to make people talk about their slot but they haven’t really expanded their reads on Leafia other than for Marl. End effect is just having soft-defended Leafia.
2. Their hyperfixation on Marl misreading the Leafia/Windward interaction feels as if there is an external motive behind it, bussing would be an excellent one.
3. Their reaction to eevee wanting to kill Marl does feel towny, but can also be explained by bussing.

Conclusion:
I believe Windward started the game soft defending Leafia and used the “I would not do this if both of us were scum” argument to get some towncred, then bussed Marl.

They were vaguely townreading Marl, found that one thing which is arguably not really a scumtell, then dug a trench out of it

Even when they later went back and said “Marl has some good qualities so im confused” they didn’t really say what good qualities, continuing to only focus on that one thing

A V/W would have stepped back and looked at the full picture. Instead they decided to plow through. On D1 no less. I believe this indicates Wind had a mindset of “kill Marl” which would come from bussing, rather than organically generating reads
