I still see no reason why wolves wouldn’t kill pigeon, the claimed town backup who is backing up the town vig, and go for Vulgard instead btw

Except maybe that they thought Vulgard was an invest and maybe he also thought he was to begin with lol

But as I said earlier, they’d want the backup vig to either get blocked from backing up or just straight out die if Hippo is wolfing

They’d have no way of knowing Hippo had been greenchecked since Leafia hadn’t claimed sheriff, so the assumption would’ve been that Hippo would get shot. And they didn’t pick up on Leafia being sheriff or they probably would’ve killed her already at the point where she was being townread, but instead they prioritized killing an arsonist which is notable. Yes, spite kill, and for understandable reasons, but I can’t believe that they wouldn’t have gone for a town pr instead if given the chance.
