Rules:

  1. Follow the Forum Game Rules.
  2. Post a minimum of 10 game related posts per active phase.
  3. Fail to heed the former rules twice or more, and you will be subbed out or modkilled.
  4. I can and might have to add and/or remove rules in the future. Except the first rule.
    Let’s just hope that I won’t have to use this rule.

General Mechanics

  • This is an open setup: There is 1 Town Neapolitan Taste Tester, 10 Town Ice Cream, and 3 Mafia Ice Cream.
  • Factional attacks are mandatory and not assigned, and can be used on ANY player.
    • Mafia have access to a 1-shot factional strongman attack.
    • The factional kill is strongman following a no-execution. This will not consume the Mafia’s 1-shot strongman. The mafia do not have a choice in this.
  • Day Phases last 48 hours. Night Phases last 24 hours.
  • All actions must be submitted in your role cards / role PMs.
  • Actions lock 1 hour before phase change.
  • Mafia members may communicate with each other through Discord during both phases.
  • Multitasking, i.e. using multiple abilities on the same phase, is allowed.
  • The host will announce when XYLO occurs.

Anti-Claim Mechanic: 1-Shot 'Vanilla’izer

  • Once per game, the mafia may choose a player. If they are the [Town] Neapolitan Taste Tester, they become a [Town] Ice Cream.
  • The mafia are not informed of whether they chose the [Town] Neapolitan Taste Tester.
  • Both the original and updated roles will be mentioned in the flip.

Roles

Vote Mechanics

  • Use the latest voting format.
  • Plurality: Whoever has the most votes at the end of a phase will die.
  • Majority: At any point during day phase, whoever has >50% of all votes will die.
  • [No Exe] is a valid vote.
  • In case of a tie, a random player within the tie will be executed.
    –unless [No Exe] is also tied, in which case [No Exe] will take priority.
  • Self-votes are considered valid votes.
  • Votes are locked in XYLO scenarios.

What stops the village from assigning specific people who are “allowed” to flavour as Chocolate for the night and making everybody else choose Vanilla…

Primarily it’s used if people want to have the towncore have more say in protection, or if people just don’t coordinate fully

There’s also probably a use later on for preventing ties (which result in no-one being protected)

This means “votes to protect” and not “votes to execute”?
