I’d argue that communal Doctor turns the game into non-mountainous, but I suppose the game is mountainous with extra steps.

…but hey! It’s basically what I have been wishing for! I need to see how well I will hold up in “normal” games. (Or at least, that’s what my mouth says. Realistically, I predict a bad outcome.)

Nah. Double vote vs “votes of all other players”.
The “fuck you” part only applies if everyone can only vote one other player AND doesn’t have the same ability as you do.
Since that isn’t happening, there is only two possible options as Town:

  1. Stay as Vanilla, and convince Neapolitan to check you.
  2. Become Chocolate or Strawberry, and vote for protection, hoping / believing that the one whom you voted for actually gets attacked.

The game is actually easily solvable as far as checks go. (Just do a rotation.) Protection is another matter though.

14 players; 3 Mafia, 1 Neapolitan.

  • Form a group of 5 players; there’s guaranteed to be at least 1 Town Ice Cream in it.
  • Get these players to promise to stay Vanilla.
  • Get Neapolitan to check any player within the group.
  • Have “the rest” be Chocolate and let them do whatever with their night-votes. (I ain’t stopping anyone from being Strawberry, but I don’t recommend it for a rotation strategy.)
    At worst, if the group of Vanillas are pure, then only 4 Town Ice Cream are voting by N1; 2 by N2. (The odds of this happening are unrealistically low if you were to do this non-deterministically though.)
  • Assuming Town WCS, SOD4 would always lead to D4 5v3 MYLO. The perfect moment for Neapolitan to reveal themself is dependent on gamestate, but if it were me, then I’d reveal at D3 (or whenever Town can afford 1 ML before MYLO) to ensure 1 Mafia death in case of Mafia counterclaim.

It actually depends on what I rand as AND on my mood.

As Mafia, no matter what my mood is, a dead thread is a good thread. Communication is supposed to be Town’s strength. If they choose to not use it for any reason, then I don’t need to change that.

As Town, it depends on how much distractions I have IRL. FM is but one of the many distractions I have. If there is something I can focus on while everyone is silent, then I don’t mind the silence. But if I have no other distractions IRL, then FM would be the only thing I have.
I am a flawed player. I play a social deception / deduction game despite disliking social interaction. It is highly unlikely that I will read anyone for any purpose other than backreading corpses to find spew and legacy reads. (Cue WotM.)
I like mech, so even in this low-power setup, I will give my 100% on exploiting mech, or at least die trying. Cooperation (or rather, the lack thereof) is something I automatically take account of in my calculations. My strategy will most likely fail, so I would have to adjust it on the fly.
After adjusting my plans… There’s nothing. Just, back to the waiting game.
