Grandees Scheme Evaluation

this dialogue is non-canon i just need to use it

The Grandees meet in a sun-baked villa.
Amelia: I have something to show you, Kiiruma.
Kiiruma: What could it be at this hour?

Amelia: No, you blithering idiot! It’s a peasant who’s the King’s spitting image! Not only that, but at exactly the right time; the Spymaster trusts us. This means we can move onto our next phase.
Kiiruma: Yes, the next phase. If we can get rid of the King’s guards, we are in a perfect position to strike. Make them needed elsewhere to defend the Kingdom. To advance their scheme, the Grandees must lower the Kingdom’s combined Military to 25 or lower in 4 seasons.

Considering the Grandees have 4 seasons to work with, I think it’s doable.
One issue: The King wants more Military, which is the very thing you want less of.

Well, yes and no.
King’s wincon involves Military.
But “making sure our own faction succeeds” >>> “making sure other factions fail” because y’know. We don’t wanna feel as if we wasted our time.
