Also I dislike some of the choices their localization team makes. Why the fuck do you rename Suzaku to Roc and Byakku to Dromarch, but keep Genbu just Genbu?? Why Mythra when her name is literally Hikari (light)? Homura to Pyra is like… Fine because at least you keep the connection to fire, but fuck the rest of them lol. It’s like some 4kids ass shit.

the High Entia are an Established Thing, and Eunie having Entia wings but without the usual High Entia headdress is a deliberate decision made by the writers to call attention to the differences in xc1 and xc3’s worlds
the High Entia in XC1 customarily wear headdresses that make their wings look like accessories rather than biological features, because they’re culturally ashamed of what the wings represent, but that context is removed from Entia culture in XC3 to the point that they aren’t even considered to be a separate species from humans; it’s just taken as accepted that humans can have bird wings growing out of their heads.
i think this watsonian argument does provide the doylist argument of it being an interesting world-building decision rather than cases where watsonian explanations of character design choices are, almost always, explaining why it’s lore-crucial that this woman has a boob window in her plate armour
