Looks like magyars used to ride on horseback and shoot arrows. Just like bulgars. I long for the steppes. Fast steed beneath me. Trusty bow and arrow in my hand. The wind splashing against my hair as I gallop into combat.
And a small percentage still do both.
Not in combat anymore, obviouslyâŠ
You have it in your language too? Doofus!
A moon crescent riding formation. Circling around enemies. Blot out the sun with arrows. Kill the byzantine scum. Ride forth with the horde
i think if the apocalypse happens i wouldnât mind becoming a steppe warlord (warlady? whatever)
No
Would there be still any steppe after the apocalypse?
Warlordess
i donât know iâm just saying that if civilisation collapses and we end up all roving an inhospitable wasteland. I would like to find the steppe equivilant and found a Horde. for enrichment purposes
Nope, thatâs the greeks, donât mix the two culture.
except weâll probably be riding, like, giant mutated porcupines instead of horses
âCHARGE!!!â, I yell, as my clan of semi-nomadic transfeminine warriors set their steeds to full tilt. theyâre giant porcupines so they arenât particularly fast but theyâre fast enough to impale the unaware on the outward spines
Also Iâm pretty sure the war against the byzantians used mostly cannons already.
The scythians (a more ancient civilization, also very known for horseback archery) were the most gender equal ancient civilization when it comes to combat. The reason for that is that they fought with short bows, little to no armor, fast horses. They rarely engaged in melee combat, and even then, it was still on horseback. So the men had practically no advantage over women. So plenty of women were warriors
also the scythians smoked a lot of weed you canât forget that part
In the mid 15th century???
very funny to imagine that civilisation collapses and the culture of the scythians just ends up coming back
people are surprisingly quick at inventing ways to kill each-other
oh thank the STARS
