Last poster before threadlock gets a cookie (cookie thread (Part 7)) (Part 8)

see ditto was the worst pokemon in competitive for 4 generations in a row. but they responded by actually buffing ditto and making it at least somewhat usable sometimes. it’s like they want luvdisc to suffer

all im saying is Reg H is a pretty baller format tbh

i think the history of ditto in smogon is so awesome. Completely and utterly shit until it became sus, as orange says. Except it has a niche in ubers because you can have three mewtwos if you play it right

if we banned pokemon that for having a certain power level instead of letting things drop from ubers we would have ubers 10 million times by now

orange darkrai is a nuclear bomb special sweeper that is partially responsible for sleep being banned because even hypnosis on darkrai is too much

technically not uniquely identifying if you count kyurem but i think it’s gone now? i’ve lost track of kyurem’s legality at this point it’s a whole mess

just to finish off my thoughts on this: look, it’s not like I don’t respect the film and musical for what they did for the queer community. I also think it’s the most repulsive kind of cisqueer pabble that views people being transgender or crossdressing in any regard as transgressive, exotic, and sexual. it attempts to turn non-conformity into a radical act performed by cisgender people rather than a radical act performed by transgender people. we can do better than this, people

i don’t know how to tell any of you this but doing drag sometimes is not more radical than altering your entire body and life in pursuit of inner truth. you can turn the “being an aberration against heteronormativity” switch off any time you’d like; we can’t. and we’d make the same choice, every single time, because it’s who we fucking are
