i’ve been doing a lot of runs of the name every pokemon quiz site. to keep me fresh. and it always reminds me that, for whatever reason, luvdisc is the last pokemon in the gen 3 pokedex before the pseudolegendaries (who are themselves the last before the legendaries). why does luvdisc get this privilege

i hate that they do this i get that “ermm thats just keeping doing votes until you get an answer you like” but people are idiots and you need to be able to account for that. The vote lost last time because some guy tried to rig it and some other guy voted against it for shits and giggles if neither of them did that kyurem got murdered immediately “but beurocracy!!” no fuck you its a rapidly evolving metagame things change fast

do you think zapdos would become the load-bearing mon in a similar way to snorlax
in the sense that any shift in tiers done to Zapdos would cause a massive ripple effect making every metagame in every tier completely different within a few months

just saying gen 5 was the only gen zapdos permadropped from ou… look at what happened
if i remember rightly (i’m a little hazy on this) snorlax to ubers would invariably cause the OU metagame so much that it would cause new pokemon to drop and rise within a few months, and the resultant changes to UU would carry on the ripple effect until nobody knows how the fuck you play GSC any more
is it fair to say that this is probably the point where a metagame becoming that centralised is like. Bad.
even RBY OU, the OU tier where it’s largely just Tauros, Snorlax, and Chansey kicking the shit out of most everyone else and they’re the key players in every game, isn’t quite that centralised
