A common tactic even in regular TOL was to kill the person who the chrono claimed to delay because the chrono has no incentive to be on that person again the following night, they can’t delay the death until it kills the victim again, they can’t directly attack the chrono because the chrono had a day ability to delay themselves at night passively, and if they’re attacking someone, they prolly wanted them dead…
