Hang on a second - if Unseen started at 3 members (Mastermind, Bodysnatcher, Assassin) and they only went down to 2 end of yesterday, does this not mean that the new Mastermind would have been able to instantly recruit someone last night as they were not on cool down?

Lets keep it simple, the mastermind and the assassin are 2 slots that are the starting evils, converts are town that turn evil and that’s no good, but they will never become anything more than the assassin
If we find the 2 starting wolf slots, we stop conversion for the rest of the game, and we’ve already found one - the other mastermind shouldn’t have cop check immunity since it’s past D2

And as a nice bonus, because we hit the starting mastermind we don’t have to worry about a situation where we kill a combination of evils in such a way that a random convert becomes the mastermind as the oldest member of the unseen. One of the two other starting evils has to have become the MM.

I am willing to temporarily clear Helsing for their roleblocker claim backed by the neutral. I can clear myself, The prince is in here somewhere who is also naturally cleared by virtue of their existence assuming they actually spawned. We can maybe clear the headhunter as well and if the headhunter is real, we’re also clearing the observer whose out there.
that’s 4~ people who can’t be starting evils, and 1 person (helsing) who is very unlikely to be.

Exactly, Mastermind has no Bodysnatcher ability on them, so the original assassin/moon spirit has it.
