Minority rule (royale) 7 (blind version) game over (Ishmael won)

Welcome to Minority Rule 7. The rules are pretty simple. I will present you a choice of several rooms—just choose one to enter. If you pick the room with the most people, you will all meet a horrible demise.

How to play?

Every round, you will be given a list of rooms to choose from - you will have 23 hours to pick. PM me your pick privately. if you pick the room a majority of the players pick, you will be eliminated. First round you will have the choice of 8 randomly chosen room. Each round there will be one less room to choose from until the number of rooms is equal 2. (Plus one if players have extra choice for any reason.)
Also if there are less than 6 alive players left, that will set the number of the rooms to the minimum as well.
The game will end once there are two or fewer players left. Feel free to PM or DM each other.

The first time a player fails to select a room, they will be randed into one.
The second time a player fails to select a room, they will die.

The game is based on the previous four minority rules from this site. (Minority rule royale 3, minFourity rule, itemized Insanity, treasures of the old ones.)

The rooms

There are 49 rooms + (1 Joker)

The 49 rooms are based on the previous 4 minority games on this site.

5 new rooms with the theme of blindness/polar statuses. 7 reworked rooms (either for balancing reason or to fit more into the theme). The rest are straight up copies from the Opening posts of the four above mentioned games.
BUT
I won’t share you the list now. You go into this game blind.
Don’t worry, I will keep myself to the following rules:

  • If a room mentions giving a specific status in their description, I will reveal what that status does.
  • Anytime a room mention giving random status, or mimicing a random room, their pool will only entail already revealed rooms/statuses. If there are no eligible target for these kind of rooms, they will be rerolled.
  • There is a False room, with the following effect: this room does nothing, but it takes the name of another random room. Except this, there are no hidden effect rooms, I always tell what a room does, and it will do exactly that. (In case it is not a false.)
  • There are no repeat rooms, even if their name is different, but the effect is the same, only one of them will appear in the game (for example Mimic has the same effect as Fake, so Mimic won’t appear in this game.) The same applies, if a room gives a status different in name, but with the same effect.

(For flavour reasons * (star) indicates new room, + (plus sign) indicates reworked rooms. These signs does not have any other effects for the game.)

The rooms are revealed every round after they get rolled. (False obviously will be revealed with a False name.)
Unless there are other effects in play you don’t have to choose between random rooms.

Statuses

There are 20 statuses, (only 1 brand new status this game)
You can have multiple statuses at the same time.
10 of the statuses are polar. (If you have polar statuses with opposite effects, you lose both of them.) You should figure out on yourself which statuses are polars of each other, once you see the statuses. I will tell only if people manage to have both of them.
Death players lose all of their statuses.

The Lover status gained a bit of rework:
Lovers (polar): They are always in pair. Effects that apply to one apply to the other. Picking the same item makes your collective vote count as 1.
If one half of a pair dies, the other half gains the Soulbound status.

boring game balancing stuff, you don't need to read this, but it shows how much I tried to fix something, so i don't have to write literally pharaghraphs for each room, which have the chance for giving out Lover status.

Also because there are rooms giving out not fixed statuses, to avoid misuses, the following addendum is created for the Lover status:
You can be part of multiple Lover pairs.
The effect the Lover status only applies toward their pair.
If for any reason an odd number of people would become Lovers, one of them randomly becomes Soulbound instead.
If you are part of multiple Lover pairs, and one of your Lover loses their Lover status, you only lose the Lover status belonging to that player.

Unless specified, when more than two Lovers is created, the Lover pairs (and if necessary, the Soulbound player.) are randed at the very end of applying new statuses.

Soulbound: If you lose this status you die.

If a status and a room’s effect are contradicting each other the status effect will be active. (The only exceptions are the rooms, which directly saving people from death.)

There are no items/artifacts in this game.

Order of application goes:

1. Effects of the Room
2. Existing Statuses
3. Majority calculated (Death from majority happens here.)
4. New Statuses
5.Tangerines counted (in the instance of a tie)

Special Rules
Care Package:

  • Every round, a random room will be chosen to contain a care package. Picking this room awards you with a single tangerine :tangerine: ! Tangerines are useless, but will be used to break ties.
  • If there is a tie for majority, the room with less tangerines :tangerine: will reach majority, and the people in the other room(s) will lose all of their tangerines :tangerine:, if the tie remains, then both rooms are considered a majority and players who picked both are eliminated.
  • In the case of a tie at final two, the living player with the most tangerines :tangerine: will win!
    • At the end of the game, Non-winners will gain Victory tokens (VTs) equal to the tangerines :tangerine: they collected during this game. It does nothing in itself, but they are a meta-currency which can be exchanged in later misc games hosted by me. (Mostly for flavour elements/staking for more VT. See the Joker section for more details.)
The Joker

(Victory tokens mentioned in this section are from previous game(s).)

Players with Victory tokens (VT) can bid their VT to make a new room for the next round. Their will gain VT equal how many people choose their room. At most one room will be created with this method. In case multiple player bid for Joker in the same round, the highest bidder’s room will be created. If it is not acceptable for any reason, it goes to the next highest bidder (if any.) The following things are not acceptable for the Joker room: It targets a specific player (or a player group, which is not influenced by this game).* It copies an already existing room/status effect. It hides what it does from the other players. It breaks the game.
*(A rough example: it is allowed to target players with statuses gained in this game, but it isn’t allowed to target players based on pronouns.)

The room will appear as a “new room” in the selection (with a *), but after the selection, it will be revealed it was created by X. X will gain the VT immediately.

To join, simply type join.
Signup will be open until 2024-10-22T17:00:00Z
Game will start 1 hour after that.

There are only 142 possible rooms from previous games.
(This does not take account repeat rooms, and rooms based around items/artifacts, so the real selection is way smaller.)
