Like, don’t you realize that the Defiance will come from the Barons and not the Grandees?
It will help out your scheme, but not the rebellion (if you even want that).
Choice B also increases Authority, meaning that Eliza would be one step closer to achieving her win condition, if there even is one. (I heard something about a minimal of 12 Seasons, but I feel like that’s an exaggeration.)

Yeah, but only total. If Barons have 8 Defiance while Counts have 0, then that would count as a success.
