Plurarity also works. Like… why not.

@Frostwolf103

think this was missed in the OP

Because if it’s plurality, then the execution is always based on the VC of the one who’s most ahead.

This realistically never happens, but if +12 and -12 plays together, then -12 doesn’t even get to vote because the execution of +12’s VC happens at the exact same time as -12’s SOD in a plur-enabled setup.

The only way to prevent this is if nobody gets executed in +12’s VC, and the only reliable way to do that is either by having everyone always vote sleep or by enabling maj-only or something akin to it.

Realistically, it’s probably -8 and +8 at worst or something in this community, but I like finding issues like these.

Oh hey. +13. Never thought that was a thing, but apparently it is. …more ways to screw people over, I suppose.

Not most ahead.
One who is swapping phase at the given moment. Becouse it’s theirs EoD.

Wdym not most ahead?
+12 swaps phase first. Someone dies based on +12’s VC. Like, what are you going to do about it? Change votes?

(Technically +13 exists, but I don’t talk about +13.)

Let’s give you the example

7 players - A, B, C, D, E, F and G each has differnt time zone, and in order.

On A’ s EoD votecount is like:
B - 3 - A, C, D
A - 2 - E, F
No vote - B, G

Meaning A is not majorited, nor plurarited (since he is not highest voted person on his EoD).

Meaning we move on and next thing to check will be on next time zone, when it’s B’s EoD.
And then if vote count staied the same, he would be lynched, but let’s say C an D swapped to vote G now.
Meaning B would have 1 vote and G would have 2.
Meaning B is not lynched and so on.

Only if he is majorited or plurarited.
If he is not, you move on.

Like you don’t kill someone if they are not being voted, obviously.

Oh wow. I get what you mean now. This is… weird? The votes of the ones further ahead gets locked on as time passes, while the ones behind becomes the only viable execution targets if the ones further ahead haven’t been executed yet.

It’s a pain to host, and worst comes to worst, the ones in the timezone most behind could end up in getting nobody executed if people coordinated poorly.

Forgot to edit that out, thanks for feedback

Yeah, it’s a pain to host.

But in reality, it’s easy to design.
Main rule is - you resolve people as theirs phase swaps. And then you play literally everything as normal.

It works for all types of actions, even lookouts or roleblocks.

fwiw that didn’t seem aggressive

that’s also because it’s eevee

Note to self: Never run eevee’s hypo setup during daylight savings time

This can’t happen though.
Unless there are people who are living more than 24 hours away from each other…

Just handle +12 and -12 as one timezone. They have basically the same time on the clock…

I wish I could :pensive:

I mean you could.

Yeah you definitely can
