the thing about top posters was more a coincidence - the main reason I thought there was a wolf there is that each of you had at least one scumread among the other 3 (except arctic, I think?) and that it was really unlikely that all 4 of you are that bad at reading each other

Why is me not using meta to read you a problem? You said it yourself, you are not polarized.

i’m not polarized in the conventional sense but there are still differences in how i play as each alignment, i just make these differences intentionally because i don’t think my playstyle as town is conducive to winning the game as mafia so i intentionally change it to push reads and get the ideal executions
… i can’t play as a wolf exactly like how i do as town otherwise i won’t be able to help my team

that’s part of it? but i also don’t think you’ve really done anything villagery today. your push on me isn’t good, like it’s just not. i think you were pretending to look elsewhere but none of your solving in other places seems as genuine/thought out and you really just wanted to kill me while still giving the impression of being reasonable. there are two ways i’d see you playing this as town - either showing more uncertainty on me than you have and playing less linearly than you have today, or being so confident that you don’t care about keeping up appearances. but i think the way you’ve played today has just felt slimy. i think you’re ignoring that NP made villagery posts and also ignoring that we obviously aren’t aligned, from my vote on them today and also the posts zorvo pointed out

yeah but i felt the way he was moving around his solving felt genuine

i thought it kinda felt like he had no real wolfreads but without like… showing an awareness of this fact (like NP did) and this was kind of wolf indicative, so i asked him and found out that he wolfread me / the top posters in general but said nothing about this prior, which kind of concerned me. it felt like he was just absorbing the thread consensus on me and was planning to vote there at the end of the day but without getting his hands dirty by commenting on it. i also think that, if a villager has the thought that the top posters might be wolves and wolves could be controlling the game, they would probably bring this up with some more… concern, without having to be prompted? these things are only leaning wolf indicative, because squirrel not giving every thought he has probably isn’t massively AI, unless we assume he literally has like 2 reads (i do also remember seeing him say he doesn’t post all his reads if they aren’t very strong), so i’m kinda reserving judgement until he gets back to me after looking at b&f mountainous
