Wazza posts also kinda piss me off which historically for this game means they’re probably a townie (like straight up them saying “I’m town, try again” is something I say to purposefully annoy people in shortform werewolf) but I’m not confident on it

Kanave is like probably town from her claim but wolf 1-use extra kill is a funny concept so I’m keeping that in my back pocket — I actually don’t really have a read on her from anything she’s said tho

NP has been reading town to me basically since they started scumreading me

I just woke up so idk if any of this tracks but I’m not exactly someone with consistent reads this game

I tried to take a step back during the night and try to evaluate what my best reasonings were for everyone as town and I arrived at the Guava/Vulgard powerwolf world
That being said I see compelling reasons that every single other player isn’t paired with them in that world so I really need to read back through everything starting at square one because I cannot afford to be wrong here
I’ve been ridiculously busy today and I will continue to be so until tomorrow afternoon which sucks but there’s no way I’m letting MYLO go without doing my damndest

my gut instinct is squirrel/guava being 2/2, but im going to do my best to go deeper in on it
guava’s play at eod was so massively confusing, but heres my best guess: guava wanted the misexe on magnus saved for a later date, assuming magnus wouldnt be able to scrounge up enough towncred to save himself given his playstyle
so
they went for another wagon
and so went for me, who hadnt been in thread for the past hour and a half
they did it with less than thirty minutes left, and here are my thoughts on it: options are; if town: they disliked the ongoing wagons and wanted to cfd and had a random funny brain moment and so went back a few hundred posts to make a push on me. then, when i called them out on it, they realized that they had said something very very… silly and immediately retracted it so as to not let the read propagate.

and then theres just. sudden bits of weirdness (the sheep vote on kanave, the push on flygon, who im currently of the mindset that theyre town, and such)

This slot can die, mostly based on the lack of engagement in thread activity during D1 (especially when they were online at points others were, they seemed far too afraid to actually enter any sort of conversation which striked me as odd. Also they ended up not even voting by EOD1 despite numerous times of them being in the thread, I don’t think they have much of an excuse for this because while they stated they were busy irl, they had more than enough time in the thread to come up with a read and place a vote.

Also their SOD2 is just common wolf-entering thread with case on dead player that they killed sort of thing.

has this been updated at all since this point in time?

this feels like its in bad faith because
the lack of voting lines up with a lack of motivation to play well, which would also line up with the low-interaction issue before
the fact that wazza didnt even bother trying to look at the other side of the equation is very concerning imo
i can see it coming from a confident townie trying to push their reads strong and right off the bat but it doesnt really have that vibe
beyond this ima go back to what im good at
most of her posts seem to be flipping tonewise on a dichotomy of self-deprecating and annoyed

That EOD CFD on Eliza was atrocious, CFDs almost always hit town and I’m mostly disappointed that literally no one called it out, there were literally 3 amazingly strong town players there, two of which held reads towards the counter wagons (Kanave and especially Flygon) yet they voted Eliza.

Wazza’s first post of substance called everyone bad at the game and their reads didn’t make any sense (“Squirrel was too scared to talk” erm girl where were you?) and I don’t think they do that after replacing a scum
It doesn’t feel like they had the time to actually think about the slots they were talking about (ironic because they said that Squirrel had “more than enough time to vote”) and I think they would have been more careful as a scum.

Also yes I’m purposefully leaving out her Arctic read because I don’t have anything to say about it

I definitely see where people are coming from re:Squirrel, but refer to Arctic’s read from yesterday - apparently he’s polarized and this game is his townplay. I don’t like how a lot of people seem to have ignored that, since Arctic has flipped town.

Point is they’re different and assuming that you saying “Kanave’s read is fake” (an accusation) means you think they’re a wolf (a read) implies you think all fake reads are wolf which… is something you did.
That’s genuine logic in a world where “read” and “accusation” mean the same thing

I’m definitely coming around on the idea that Eliza just doesn’t know what she’s talking about, even after she stopped “faking” (while I don’t believe her read was fake at all I’m willing to believe she’s just a town who doesn’t want to die since every time I’ve played with her she’s died immediately so she backpedaled it)

This is where I should place my vote for now.

The progression on Eliza is also rather nuanced. It goes in a lot of different places and becomes adjusted as Eliza responds and the gamestate develops, to such an extent that I doubt anyone but the most skilled wolves could do this.
