or maybe I’m actually explaining this badly
uh
I’m acting this way on my judgment of the type of player atlas is based on his play style

there’s a reason I said this isn’t relevant because it really isn’t relevant to the scope of the game

I’d say Atlas obviously because his role is literally useless to his alignment if hes scum and useful if hes town. Except hes obv town on play tbh.

Ai.Mi for similar reasons although if wolf they would be slightly more useful to their alignment than Atlas.

Era for being the only protective role in game without a downside.

Estelle makes it difficult for certain roles to lie about their night action and forces them to use it in a way protown way or at least a way that aligns with their reads and cause a mess unless Estelle herself is scum with one of these people in which case game can become a huger mess, maybe Ai.Mi should check Estelle with these people (but what if Rune and Estelle are both scum and Rune predicts which of these people Ai.Mi will check that night and messes with it?..) kind of an unlikily unlucky scenario though)

i actually thought Dubu just not caring about how they were perceived at all and admitting to posting solely to avoid postcount is slightly towny

lol

TEN!

10/15

Clearly this is helping people find me, so I’mma keep it up.

I take their opinions into consideration. Those opinions being so conflicting is something that puzzles me, though…

Ten…

I think Atlas’s role is very powerful in the hands of a competent saboteur, because he could lie about people’s flips, greatly altering the gamestate. If he’s trusted and a saboteur, that could turn things upside down.

I think he’s a competitor, though.

I haven’t been reading the setup close enough and now realize roles are open. That makes certain convos make more sense lol.

Also makes my strongest scumread, Era, somewhat suboptimal to waste D1, but I’m not gonna let that read too much into it. Hunt scum, not roles, and all that.

Can someone TRing Era give me a good case for them being viewed as strong town? So many are doing it, obviously some folks are being genuine. I don’t see anything they’re doing as inherently townie, they seem to me to be existing in thread but not driving solving. This sets off alarm bells in my head, so what am I not seeing?

I continue to like Juno’s posts.

Do I need to be driving solving to be town? Other people are doing that.

I like Estelle’s posts since last night and can see them more as a “thinks differently” town than a “driving bad cases” scum. Especially with their organization comment now being clear to me. Town that think differently are good.

I don’t see a problem with my approach… there is an entire group of players I trust, and who are building a consensus. I am building that consensus alongside them. I’ve given my reads and I’ve questioned people. I now have a relatively narrow group of people I would be okay with disqualifying today.

What is the issue with my play? Is it the fact I haven’t definitively found all the saboteurs, or that I am not aggressive enough? My playstyle involves neither, especially this early on.

Do you have a read on Dubu?

oh yea forgot he could still lie not differently from Estelle

I feel like you’re expecting me to be a voice of dissent or something similar, but I think the consensus is quite alright. I’m not going to fight it when I agree with it. I have some doubts about specifically Drek’ar, but I am choosing to trust Atlas.

I feel like the case on Era is mostly based on playstyle reasons just for being more of a passive player rather than having a leader-ish playstyle. Their posts have actually been fine (slight townlean)

I think the Dubu slot is town yet I don’t really blame people for voting there.
